Alex Niggemann returns to the scene of so many fierce releases with his latest weapons-grade stormer. The Berliner pulls out all the stops on this release – Tangram (The Bright End) is a burner that slowly builds and builds, maintaining just the right amount of tension and release. 

Eventually, out of the precise interplay of elements, explodes a huge euphoric melody that will surely take the roof of many a club in the months to come. 

The Dark End version is another beast entirely, switching the vibe to something a little malevolent- a techier workout that maintains the essential core of the original but provides a little extra drive to the groove - tough, body-moving Tech House for the heads. 

Maze also showcases the class we have come to expect form Poker Flat. Diamond hard beats, unhinged synths and an evolving groove are classic Niggemann traits, resulting in a deeply assured track that will see as much club play as the other two bombs on this releases.

Poker Flat Recordings welcomes back the ever-prolific Alex Niggemann for another speaker-troubling dispatch. This time out, the Aoen and Soulfooled boss drops a hea- vy–duty release that more than lives up to his usual high standards.
'Materium' is epic in every sense of the word- a sprawling, tough journey into analog tech- no – with a dash of house thrown in. It rips through the speakers – the crisp and aggres- sive production provides the space for grow- ling synths and atmospheric, tense pads. New on Poker Flat, a four track release entitled New Moon, via the Bulgarian born Selderv (now living in Denmark), and several collaborators across the EP.    

The openining track Igray is a powerful tool for the dancefloor - slick programming and oceans of atmosphere make this a stand out track on an EP full of moments. 

Label boss Steve Bug takes a swing at it with his remix, and delivers yet another masterclass in remixing - accentuating elements from the original to create a new vibe. 

New Moon is a co-production with Yasen (Yasen Nedelchev, also from Bulgaria) and showcases a burgeoning partnership - the track is fully primed for maximum dancefloor euphoria.  

The remix comes from Kadosh  - the underground Tel Aviv native with a string of high profile releases and shows - who sprinkles his own magic on New moon to create a perfect counterpoint to the original.

Sublease Music proudly welcomes Vincenzo, one of the longest serving producers on the house circuit, with Assassin, a slinky, deep and rolling house cut. 

The title track builds around a snaking bassline, with sharp percussions adding the groove before lush pads add the texture to the groove.

Amiable Romanian producer and DJ  Mihai Popoviciu pops by to add his own take - more driving and functional - this is late night basement music.

Dutchman Dennis de Laat is a long-established dance music producer best known from his huge version of ‘Sound of Violence’.

Here he collaborates with singer songwriter Jade PraiZe on the Figments of My Mind release. 

The original ties together de Laat's amazing production prowess with PraiZe’s stunning vocal delivery to create a truly affecting track that will work as well on the dancefloor as for at home listening.  

Hannes Bieger  - veteran producer, and live performer compliments the original with his own take - bringing out the deeper elements of the original.

Making his debut on Crosstown Rebels, AEON founder Alex Niggemann takes us on a sonic exploration of the African continent for his next musical venture.

Allow yourself to melt into the hypnotic rhythm of Zoulou. Ambient sounds are textured with percussion that lures you in. Tribal chants and explosive drums seek add drama as the abundance of intricate layers pull you along for the journey. Bwana is more progressive than its predecessor with a soft drumbeat underpinning it. It utilises that same tribal vocal stab contrasting against harder synths.

Alex Niggemann is an artist who prides himself on being innovative and forward thinking when it comes to electronic music. Over the years, he’s had releases on Last Night On Earth, Watergate and Poker Flat Recordings. In 2013 he set up his own impressive imprint, AEON, in a bid to release music that breathes quality and originality and blurs the line between house and techno. Berlin-based Electro/Pop duo Yeah But No announce the release of the latest addition to "Demons Remixes", a series of carefully chosen remixes accompanying their sophomore album "Demons".

Yeah But No is comprised of Douglas Greed and Fabian Kuss. Merging electronic music with classic song structures into a smart and captivating listening enjoyment is the band's objective ever since they started collaborating. 

Being on the road constantly, Yeah But No have shaped and redefined their musical vision of the band. Dealing with inner and outer conflicts and contrarieties, "Demons" is a slightly darker and more mature piece of music than the bands previous releases.
