Hailing from Cuernavaca, Mexico, Mario D. Quiroz crafts a hypnotic journey with his “Barranca” EP, blending World Music’s organic textures with the pulse of Indie Dance and Melodic House & Techno. The two original tracks, “Ensalmo” (a nod to incantations) and “Ceiba” (named after the sacred tree of Mesoamerican lore), weave a narrative of nocturnal mysticism, where rhythm and melody mimic the untamed whispers of nature. Quiroz’s productions thrive in duality: “Ensalmo” unfolds with ritualistic percussion and spiraling harmonies, while “Ceiba” balances earthy grooves with celestial synthwork. From the vibrant shores of Portugal to the pulsating heart of Berlin, Jepe has carved out a unique and captivating presence in the global electronic music scene.

Jepe's musical journey began in Aveiro, a coastal town near Porto, where he was drawn to the rhythmic energy of the ocean. At just 16 he had his own radio show, and by 19 he was already commanding the decks at one of the biggest clubs in his hometown. 

As one half of duo Johnwaynes, he made waves with releases on   Mulemusiq, Compost Records, Get Physical, and Cecille. And in 2013, Jepe embarked on a solo path, spanning top labels such as Diynamic, Moodmusic ++. 

As founder of rising label Eastern Standard, Jepe is also a visionary curator. And as a skilled mix engineer at Berlin’s renowned Blackhead Studios, he cultivates his perfectionism in both analog and digital rhythmical landscapes.

Of Norway - L`Intemporelle (Jepe Loves Ursula Edit) - badabing diskos [OCC PREMIERE]

The prolific Mexican label Duro kicks off the second half of the year with an explosion of rhythm and movement courtesy of the duo Factory Setup. Their highly anticipated EP, "Afrikka", lands on June 27, 2025, promising a deep dive into hypnotic grooves, and infectious percussions.

Factory Setup, the project born from the synergy of Joseeph and Zhino – both residents of Guadalajara's iconic Bar Américas. Their approach, which unearths forgotten gems from the late '80s, '90s, and 2000s and combines them with contemporary freshness, finds its ultimate expression in "Afrikka," a work celebrating the vibrant connection between Latin and African rhythms.

The sonic journey begins with "Afrikka (Original Mix)", which exposes the raw backbone of the groove, allowing the percussive mystique and captivating vocals to take center stage. This leads seamlessly into "Flow First (Original Mix)", a hypnotic cut that maintains its intoxicating essence by stripping away the piano, revealing a deeper, constant pulse that ensnares you in its wave.

Adding an unyielding dimension, the EP includes the "Flow First (Hardvard Bass Remix)". With solid drums and demented synthesizers, Hardvard Bass constructs a sonic voyage where a booming bassline guides you through a shower of synths. It's a tech house-oriented track that pushes the energy to new limits, perfect for the dancefloor's most intense moments.

Next, the energy ignites with "Afrikka (Stab Mix)", a pure Latin house anthem that transports you directly to a sun-drenched dancefloor. Its ancient African percussions fuse with psychedelic vocals and an insistent, rhythmic stab, creating a groove you simply won't want to stop. The EP then beautifully circles back with "Flow First (Piano Mix)", where a playful array of drums and percussions intertwines with a piano that simply invites you to move, as soothing vocals envelop you in a rhythmic spiral, lifting both soul and body in an uninterrupted dance.

Martin Landsky continues the US-inspired journey with ‚V2U‘, the man is always on form! Bleep-infused moments come courtesy of the modern masters KiNK & Neville Watson, with ‚Nighttime Raw‘, while Sasse pumps out a seriously heavy windy city-styled attack in ‚Hot For You‘.

Much-loved newcomer The Revenge contributes ‚Elements of Fife‘, a slow grooving New York / Chicago crossover styled beauty. Then, in all out lush-chorded goodness, Ribn gives us their powerful ‚Pancake‘! Newblood Polus hit dead centre with a modern yet hauntingly reminiscent nighttime jam; ‚Patterns In The Dark‘, followed by Deetron‘s deep-bomb ‚The Maze‘ - an amazing journey through the smoke-filled labyrinth.

Berlin mainstay Clé takes us right back with his super funky ‚Feel It (Don‘t Cha Know)‘, warm and classy. Deepsters TJ Kong & Modular K give us their ‚Jack Shit‘ in a slow burning Chi-town acid groover. Cab Drivers return with a real classic-themed killer, ‚Shoulder Pad‘, that harks back to their 90‘s days, and finally the mighty Redshape gives us his darkly acidic ‚Funny Green Hat (Altered Mix), which seriously needs to be heard to be believed!!

The digital release also features three extra tracks, including the original version of Redshape‘s ‚Funny Green Hat‘, along with an alternate version of The Revenge‘s ‚Elements Of Fife (Tone Mix) and another exclusive from Clé - the excellent ‚Muzik Is‘.

antihero must be against everything. The absolute antihero is against absolutely everything. He is against your will, against your concepts, against all the hate
and all the self-obsession. The antihero is specifically against you. Does that trigger you? Do you prefer to play the hero? Then throw away Rumi's book and
