Turning back has never been an option. With a career that transcends decades, continents, and genres, Jean Pierre returns with his second solo album called 'No Turning Back'. Pakate Records' nineteenth release signifies a real milestone in Jean Pierre's career.

It coincides with his 40th birthday, celebrating a path born in New York, Miami and now Barcelona, where the 12 tracks have been written and produced. After his debut album on Nervous in 2013, the Colombian artist felt the need to put together years on the road and in the studio between parties, records, and live jam sessions into a project that embodies his biggest passion, music, which never made him lose his way. Techno, house, and minimal are blended together with rich breakbeat loops, rumba rhythms, and hip-hop sounds into a 12-track ode to JP's endless influences and contaminations. Featuring collaborations with close friends Natalia Roth, Daniel Orpi, Zamoras, and a first-time appearance on Pakate by Jamie Coins, Hanie, and Casas, the album perfectly represents not just JP's musical ethos but his approach towards life, friends, and society: a meeting point, and never a turning point.

Defex, the Bavarian-Ibizencan wildcat and long-time underground force, returns to Poker Flat with a monster of a track.

The story began when Defex sent an instrumental track to Steve Bug, the driving bassline already giving it the working title “Zaxndi” – Bavarian slang roughly translating to “what the hell” (a local spin on “Sacre dieu”). Bug instantly signed it but suggested a male vocal might take it to the next level. 

Defex didn’t have to think twice and called on Maniac, one of Bavaria’s most distinctive rappers, who delivered with razor-sharp verses full of playful word twists, including his lyrical play on “rash giving” – decisive like an allergy. 
The result is a ferocious hybrid of raw house energy, a mad bassline and a fearless rap, a track that balances club-ready intensity with wild charisma, while the instrumental version provides DJs with a more direct tool for the floor.

The New York-born, New Jersey-based Avision lands on Radio Slave’s Rekids sublabel REK’D for the first time with the ‘Get Down’ EP, arriving 14th November 2025. The title track emanates pure NYC soul, pairing uplifting vocals with euphoric energy, while ‘Papi’ moves into deeper territory, its stripped-back groove and shadowy stabs giving way to flickers of funky, jazz-tinged warmth.

Dino Lenny debuts on Radio Slave’s Rekids with ‘Not About The Volume’ on 5th December 2025 alongside a remix from label regular Tiger Stripes. Active for over three decades, Italian/UK DJ, producer, singer, and Fine Human Records label owner Dino Lenny has released on R&S, Diynamic, Innervisions, and Bedrock, while working with artists such as Underworld, Missy Elliott, Wu-Tang Clan, and Madonna on remixes and collaborations. Since 2021, he’s hosted Tomorrowland’s Core, the festival’s alternative electronic stage's radio show, which has featured Nina Kraviz, Ellen Allien, DJ Tennis, and more.

Lenny’s ‘Not About The Volume’ boasts a loopy groove that forms the base for impactful, jazz-inflected hits, and at the centre, a quirky, party-starting vocal that’s sure to cement itself in the minds of the dancefloor.
