Volume 2 of the new Under One Roof series that features new talent on Poker Flat Recordings pairs together Thorsten Hammer feat. Jade PraiZe and Anton Mcmillan for a brace of sublime cuts that drive the genre in quite different directions.

Hammer’s World On Shoulders is the work of the DJ and producer from Germany's creative 'Rhein-Main-Area ́, and boasts exceptional vocals from the Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter Jade PraiZe. 

Lithuanian producer and DJ Anton Mcmillan also shares Casual Insanity, a trippy, grooving track with some unexpected twists.

MXMA's Get Into It production is a rolling house tune that also enlists the prodigious talents of Amsterdam-based singer/songwriter Jade PraiZe, delivering another amazing vocal performance. 

Denney supplies a rework that brings out some of the techier elements, and primes it for even more dancefloor reaction. 

Salus, (Londoner Steven Vaughan) presents Do You Think About Me - perhaps an ultra contemporary twist on the classic Lil Louis “I Called U”, with a driving, edgy vibe.

Up next on Sublease Music is the production pair Leeni and Danilo Kupfernagel, who recently reworked Steve Bug & Clé’s Hallucinous.  

This time out the Berlin-based pair drop a three track EP called Interminable - with two versions of the lead track and an additional third, Cerca. 

The main mix of Interminable is a deep bomb, a chugging rhythm track punctuated by stabs and bubbling arpeggiated synth line - it’s a slick and rolling track designed for maximum impact. 





The Gorge remix dials in on the low end, teasing out a bassline that drives the rest of the track. 

Cerca closes out the EP, a tougher deep house cut with a driving groove.

It’s been 18 years since Jim Rivers catapulted into the limelight with his hit debut single ‘Restore’,  going on to build an enviable career that has seen him play worldwide and grow an impressive catalogue of releases on numerous high profile labels.  

Calycanthus is another sure fire winner- an assured and atmospheric track that touches on progressive and trance styles, but ultimately remains a tough, dance floor filler that will work in a myriad of sets and circumstances.   

As a sign of the levels he’s working at, Rivers calls in a remix from the legend Bushwacka! to provide a new perspective on the track - amping up the acidic bass and firing percussion to create a new vibe out of the same elements. 

Last up is Yucca  - a slick and polished mid tempo groover that develops an irresistible groove supported by some judicious drops.

RJ Banks - State of Mind

Released in 2010 on DJ Lucca's Sound of Acapulco label as part of the 5 Stars EP, "It Must Be Time" by Gabriel Ben quickly became a crowd favorite, standing out as a track with all the right elements to move the dancefloor.
