A seven-track descent into overstimulation, collapse, and the slow return of humanity.

It starts in compulsion — the hollow scroll, the numb satisfaction, the infinite feed.
It moves through cognitive overload and the claustrophobic quiet of shutdown.
Then, slowly, warmth returns: breath, space, clarity, agency.
By the end, the nervous system is human again.

This album doesn’t glorify the digital trap or condemn it.
It maps the internal experience of living inside it — and the moment you step out.

This track comes from a very emotional moment in my life. “I Lift You High” is about that rare feeling when someone lifts your spirit at the exact moment you’re falling apart. I tried to capture the warmth, the tension, and the fragile hope inside that moment. The whole progressive-dub flow is built around one emotion, the feeling of rising above the darkness, even if just for a few minutes.

Reset Robot has given us two tracks that are absolutely on fire. ‘Rebellion’ is a slow burning, after-hours groover that packs a punch and harnesses percussion elements to the full effect. ‘The Hanging Gardens Of Babylon’ is a lot more of a melancholic offering and leads into a beautiful crescendo to finish any night off in style.

Hannes Bieger (@hannesbieger) is one of Europe’s most in-demand mixing engineers, working for some of the biggest names in the business. With such a wealth of experience, it’s no surprise to anyone that his own productions are every bit as beautifully constructed as his high profile clients. Dropping this three tracker on 2nd home Poker Flat, Bieger gives a lesson in tech house dynamics.

Title track 'Tephra' is a true proposition - urgent, skittering drums with deep bass pulses pepper the track, while a delirious lead takes things into epic territory - a track that exists to send chills up the spine of dancers and listeners alike.

'Didyme' is cut from similar cloth - perfectly balanced elements create a whole that far outstrips its minimal elements. Arpeggiated synths sit low in the mix before a lead brings shades of rave into focus.

Rounding out the release, 'Galeras' is more of a heads down affair - tough and funky drums set the pace while bass tones and fragments of melody provide the late night vibe.
