Following on from his 'Tired Voice' EP Reset Robot returns to Poker Flat Recordings with a new three-tracker entitled Duplicate. 

The man behind the moniker is Dave Robertson, Portsmouth based DJ/producer who has been honing his sound for some time - a perfect blend of crafty house music and slick tech vibes. 

With this EP he flaunts a lot of his signature sound - the title track grooves along nicely around a shuffling beat before building and dropping with maximum effect. 

Hyra has a more classic techno feel, the blippy groove compliments a Detroit-eque pad, before the track locks into its main section accompanied by a wobbly synth. 

Service, the third track sits somewhere in between the two - a thick synth bassline and propulsive rhythm track creating a heavy dance-floor heater.

Following recent outings on Aus Music, Rejected and Knee Deep In Sound, Steve Bug returns to his own Poker Flat Recordings for his first solo release on the label since 2021's Montafon. 

Despite maintaining a prolific release and remix schedule, it's been quite some time since we've been treated to a pure, unadulterated Steve Bug original on Poker Flat. 

So we're very pleased to present Alto Adige: a fantastically deep and typically meticulous two-tracker set to scratch that particular itch. 

Alto Adige is a patient slow-burner, kicking off with a muted synth line that gradually opens up as the track progresses, building to a deeply satisfying crescendo in the break. 

Trentino is similarly minded, with the addition of rising strings and a beautifully epic synth lead adding even more drama to proceedings.

**[RADIO EMBARGO] NO LISTED RADIO PLAY BEFORE DAY OF RELEASE PLEASE**  A few minutes after arriving in the beautiful city of Marracech to play The Wild Jam Festival, Moroccan Duo Wahm spotted the dOP boys tucking into their Tajines and decided to introduce themselves. This chance encounter triggered a natural bond. So fast in fact, that dOP invited the guys to play live with them that same night. Invitation accepted. Together the duos performed a magical set, with an audience hypnotised by the energetic interaction between Jonathan Illel, Damien Vandesande, Hicham Belahmer and Walid Morsaly .  A studio session was then booked in Paris and that live magic was transferred to tape, utilising guitars, electric bass and a collection of analog synthesisers, their sounds naturally and effortlessly combined to become one.  Limit of Speech & Kutna Hora are the voices of the people. A conscious message to our leaders. The EP is a testament to the power of collaboration and the ability of music to transcend cultural and geographical boundaries. Music with a message. Catz ‘n Dogz make a standout debut on Crosstown Rebels with two compelling new house tracks on ‘Can’t Stand’, complete with a remix from leftfield innovator Robag Wruhme.

A pairing whose renowned reputation has been built and shaped across an illustrious career, Polish duo Grzegorz Demiañczuk and Wojciech Tarañczuk, aka Catz’ n Dogz, have been serving up their own diverse and varied take on house for more than fifteen years. Founders of their own Pets Recordings imprint, in that time they have released on esteemed labels, from Diynamic to Defected, Glitterbox to Watergate and more, while playing at almost every major club and festival across the globe. Their fresh in-between sounds and knack for cooking up curious and impactful sounds have made them mainstays of the scene, and that run of stellar releases continues here with a debut appearance on Crosstown Rebels as they link with ZenSoFly for ‘Can’t Stand’ - with longstanding German favourite Robag Wruhme on remix duties.

Opener ‘Can’t Stand’ sees the pair reunite with vocalist ZenSoFly, a talent they’ve worked with on notable hits like ‘Wave.’ Her vocals bring soul and attitude over a tight, rubbery and sleazy house beat, underpinned with a heavy bassline - providing the sort of chunky cut to lock in a dancefloor and make it march in unison.
Robag Wruhme has been a Pampa label mainstay and famously curveball producer for many years with his scintillating blend of minimalism, melody and unusual sound sources. That is the case again with this remix, a dark workout that hurries along on snappy drums, detuned vocals and scuzzed up, droning synths to ensure maximum impact.

The EP is closed out with ‘Wake Up’, a widescreen and atmospheric cut packed with detail. The bassline is taught, freaky vocals echo within the mix, and synths spray about to dramatic effect, delivering another full flavour house cut with a dark soul and futuristic designs.

Tibi Dabo returns with ‘Overture’, a third tantalising single from his forthcoming Crosstown Rebels album, with remixes from Map.ache and Aline Umber.

The first two singles from the project, ‘Triple Frontier’ and ‘Licht’, have shown what Barcelona’s Tibi Dabo is all about - forward-thinking electronic music with original drums (a result of him having toured the globe with his band) and plenty of cosmic twists and character. A label favourite having dropped his ‘Isla’ EP on Crosstown Rebels back in 2022, ahead of his much-anticipated debut LP comes this third superb taster from it.

The superb ‘Overture’ is an eight-minute gem with super smooth percussion and elastic grooves, with wispy sci-fi chords and gentle synth modulations. It’s full of future feels and catchy drum funk that is sophisticated and smartly detailed with choppedup vocal fragments.

First to remix is Leipzig’s Map.ache, co-founder of Kann Records and member of the Giegling family. His take builds with fatter drums that are just as infectious, while rippling synth loops weave in and out as flashy basslines cut loose and balmy pads add extra cosmic absence to a hypnotic mix of the heady and the physical.

Aline Umber, a collaborative live project from French composers, producers and DJs Aline Brooklyn and Aman Umber, are second to remix. They run the Airfunk label and are no stranger to playing cult spots like Rex Club in Paris. Their ‘23% Eventide’ mix is a blissed-out and synth-laced trip with subtle, smeared chords and starry-eyed keys that have you gazing off into the distance as you get lost in the warm drums.

House and techno legends Pig&Dan return to Poker Flat Recordings, 20 something years into a career that has seen them achieve almost all that is possible in electronic music. 

For Call the Hitman they team up once more with the just as legendary You Plus One founder Siavash. Together they display how they remain at the top of their game, fresh and urgent in their production and delivery. 

Call The Hitman snaps along with an elastic bassline and finely tuned drums. The cheeky vocal is undeniable, and might well become an after-party anthem.  

Out The Jungle dials into a bumping house groove with lots of character and swing - a late night deep cut that will be getting a lot of spins on discerning dancefloors.

'Tokyo producer Satoshi Fumi makes his debut on Rhythm Cult for his latest EP 'Eternal Refrain'. Satoshi's music is elegantly dance-centric, with nuanced rhythm work and beautifully layered melodies that are supported by club-ready energy and dynamics.

Every element of the tune 'Eternal Refrain'' has been developed for summer festivals & parties through its euphoric merging of numerous styles, creating something unique and unforgettable.

'Fractale' combines organic percussion work with effortlessly unique and appealing piano hooks and delicate synths to create a detailed sound environment that rewards repeated listening with fresh discoveries.

Stelios Vassiloudis rounds up this special release with two magnificent remixes of the title track 'Eternal Refrain'. The first gives Vassiloudis' distinctive perspective on ''Eternal Refrain'', opting for stronger beats and bouncing bass throughout. Chunky grooves and high-energy sonics kick in right away, making it a head-turning peak-time jam! With an intimate mix, the second remix takes the listener on a voyage of auditory ambience.

Dilby is a Berlin based DJ originally hailing from New Zealand, and with a couple of decades of experience as a DJ and producer.  

Here on Poker Flat Recordings he drops a strong two-tracker that highlights his skills as master of atmospheric tech-house.  



Organika builds slowly and patiently from a few elements to become an euphoric and hypnotic deep gem.  

Burnt Embers is another tripping groove that revels in restraint - the track takes its time and in the process creates a deeply engaging, spacy vibe.

Label head Steve Bug returns to his longest running imprint, this time pairing up with No Idea's Original owner, DJ and producer Huxley for L.O.V.E.  

The track is typically upfront house music with classic rave stabs, a timeless vocal sample and firing drums. It’s a surefire party starter and a perfect summation of the producer's individual talents.  

Additionally there’s a remix from the Peruvian DJ and producer Ammo Avenue which reworks the rhythm track and adds various new sounds and FX, but stays true to the rave-infused vibe of the original.

Dachshund is the artist name of Olivier Doret, a DJ and producer based in Geneva, Switzerland who is also the Co-founder of the Clapper label. 

With releases dating back to 2006, Dachshund is an established entity in the scene, and has built a strong and loyal following among those in the know. 

With this Cozy Mess EP on Poker Flat Recordings, he dials in directly to his signature sound - beautifully produced tech-leaning house with tonnes of atmosphere and vibe.  

Cozy Mess, the title track develops around an ethereal arpeggiated melody that undulates and evolves, while restrained synth stabs punctuate the groove. 

Lust offers up a similarly enthralling journey, a mini epic that integrates minor keys and pads. 

Hidden Echos is the last track on the EP, with a tougher beat that sets the tone for some dubby and effected sounds to float on top, creating a rich atmosphere carried forward by sharply programmed drums.

New on Poker Flat, a four track release entitled New Moon, via the Bulgarian born Selderv (now living in Denmark), and several collaborators across the EP.    

The openining track Igray is a powerful tool for the dancefloor - slick programming and oceans of atmosphere make this a stand out track on an EP full of moments. 

Label boss Steve Bug takes a swing at it with his remix, and delivers yet another masterclass in remixing - accentuating elements from the original to create a new vibe. 

New Moon is a co-production with Yasen (Yasen Nedelchev, also from Bulgaria) and showcases a burgeoning partnership - the track is fully primed for maximum dancefloor euphoria.  

The remix comes from Kadosh  - the underground Tel Aviv native with a string of high profile releases and shows - who sprinkles his own magic on New moon to create a perfect counterpoint to the original.
