SULEIMAN RECORDS is a Montreal boutique digital label founded by DJ/producer Darem Aissa. The name of the imprint pays homage to Syrian poet Suleiman Al-Aissa, one of the most prominent contemporary Arab poets.

The intent of SULEIMAN RECORDS and its vinyl-only sub-label AISSA RECORDS is to promote and produce positive, quality, underground electronic music. Taking influences from House, Techno and the many amalgamations in between, involving a diverse array of talented artists worldwide.

PREMIERE: Never Mind - Doomsday Device (LENKE Remix) [ASTIR Recordings]

Next up is Steve Bug’s epic Chordwalk Empire, which gets three new treatments as a part of the remix competition to celebrate the label's 20 years.

Like the other two releases carefully handpicked by the artist of the orginal track from hundreds of entries, the standard remains incredibly high and each track is more than worthy of this official release.

The first remix comes from Theobald Ringer - a techno producer from Brest in northern France. His deep rework is a heavy hitter - full of energy and drive, yet maintaining a sense of melancholy and emotion that shine through.

Facundo Sosa is behind the 2nd remix here. The producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina takes things yet deeper with a classy, slick version that adds a spacy, cosmic layer to the track.

Finally, Esteban Howell shares his El Bicho Remix, representing the underground electronic scene of Central America. Howell provides a rework featuring a thick, rolling bassline, and crisp percussion to support the shimmering synths - while also adding a welcome balearic house feel.

The official release features the best 3 mixes while 7 more are exclusively released on Poker Flat's bandcamp page featuring remixes from Chris Sen from Pretoria County (South Africa) who already looks back on more than 50 releases on labels like Sony, Universal Dance, Einmusik, Ein2, Defected, Soul Candi,Stay True or Just Move records, producer, DJ and labelowner (Savia Park) Joshua Gutiérrez aka Slurm from Guayaquil, Ecuador, Vladimir Ivanoff aka Electricano from Riga, Latvia who already played stages like Sensation White, Kazantip, Ministry of Sound tour, Dance Summit, Moonlight Party and more, dark-disco producer Aidan Sealey aka Jousting Sticks from Melbourne, Australia, Slovakian born label owner (Digital Paradox) Sabiani from Prague, Czech Republic, Miklo a coffee drinker, live performer, synthesist, photographer, software developer from Stockholm, Sweden who already released on labels like Deepclass Records, Crossfade Sounds and Transform Recordings and David Granha from Spain who already released on Noir Music, Suara, Unrilis, Octopus, KMS, Respekt and more.
