Emanuel Top - tone (1998 mix the omen 10 years)

Magnetic talent Adiel, her native Rome’s Goa Club resident DJ on their famed Ultrabeat vinyl nights and global exponent of techno’s wilder shores, now joins [PIAS] Électronique to share original tracks which spiked her 2024 DJ sets. 
First of the series (January 24th) is ‘Bolingo Malenbè’, her collab single with Guinean singer/percussionist Falle Nioke mingling his afrobeats and vocal with her breaks, tribal and dub-influenced techno.
‘Bolingo Malenbè’ dazzles the ear with Nioke’s rich, resonant vocal showcased by her signature ‘techno with emotion’ which combines strong breaksy beats - encompassing vibes of Falle’s traditional West African percussion - alongside hard, juddering, reverb-heavy techno bass lines and spacey sound FX, with gentler melodic interludes of guitar- and piano-like phrases and chords. 
Warm, organic, tribal, yet dark and gritty techno ready to ignite dancefloors far and wide.

Legend has it that AERO was born when the Pan-Pot boys were testing out HADERLUMP Berlin's top-secret jet, they broke the sound barrier so violently that it ripped a melody straight from the sky. The shockwave sent a frequency through the cockpit's radio, perfectly harmonized, as if the heavens themselves were composing a track. Stunned, they crash-landed into a field of synthesizers and recorded the ethereal sound before it vanished. Scientists tried to explain it, but no earthly logic could decode the airborne symphony. The track remains the only known collaboration between man, machine, and the atmosphere itself. As this is the very untrue origin story of HUMAN_001_AERO by Pan-Pot off their brand new HUMAN series under the just revamped Second State label. The date is April 3rd. Japanese Techno pioneer Ken Ishii returns to Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects with the ‘Autopilot’ EP, arriving 22nd August 2025. It follows his first appearance on the label in 2023, where he collaborated with Dutch duo Kamara on the ‘Powerplay’ single.

‘Autopilot’ kicks oﬀ with an unsuspecting, rolling groove while playful synths sneak up and bounce oﬀ its rhythm. The trip continues with ‘Sunset Flight’, lush chords washing over deep, subby low-end, rising high before delving back into the background while delicious percs play between its pounding kick drums. Closer ‘Grid Bounce’ then returns to mischief, machine-like sequences tumbling over an unrelenting beat, excellently building pressure for maximum dancefloor wonk.

DJ and producer Ken Ishii is one of the founding artists behind the Japanese Techno scene, he debuted on R&S Records in 1993 and quickly rose to global acclaim, releasing on labels like Harthouse, Exceptional, and now Rekids’ RSPX oﬀshoot, while collaborating with artists like Jeﬀ Mills, who remixed Ishii’s 2019 ‘MOBÏUS STRIP’ album on U/M/A/A.

He is also the founder of the 70 Drums label, co-brewer of KIKK IPA, worked on theme songs for the 1998 Winter Olympics and the Japanese government for the 2005 World Expo, and continues to innovate through projects ranging from video game and anime soundtracks to collaborations with Jazz artists.
