On Polari 019 , Cormac welcomes Jordan Nocturne to his imprint Polari: Dolly EP Drops Digitally on October 27th. The iconic imprint is set to unleash a three-track playful force.

Jordan Nocturne on the release and meeting Cormac;

“I first encountered Cormac about 15 years ago when I was a resident at an after-hours queer party called Yello and he was a regular guest. Many years later we bonded over high energy house and disco. I thought it was a nice touch to pay homage to those times, and there's another tip of the hat to Belfast party starters Ponyhawke who have carried the mantle for diverse and inclusive dancefloors in Belfast here in 2023.  The lead track is a collaboration with a Ukrainian artist, Ready in LED and it had Polari written all over it. Olya is a superstar and I’m very excited to be working with her.”

Ready in LED who has recently released on Polari herself, has made a stellar contribution to Jordan‘s forthcoming EP, she lends her extraordinary vocal prowess to the opening track, "Over & Over," infusing it with captivating strength. As the EP unfolds, "Yello" and "Ponyhawke" follow suit, as Jordan embarks on a playful journey of reinterpreting and paying homage to the rich legacy of Hi-NRG...  more

Jordan Nocturne feat Ready In LED - Over & Over

The Queer Northern-Ireland born Cormac is back from another busy year as a label honcho and curator with the second Polari compilation No Tears In The Backroom Vol. 2 scheduled for release 31st of January 2024.

The compilation is filled with synth heavy swings, acid basslines, steamy vocals and lots of fun, making NTITB Vol. 2 the perfect entrance release into the new year.

Cormac says; No Tears In The Backroom Vol. 2 is a unique family with offerings from Polari hitmakers such as Jordan Nocturne, ROTCIV, & Louis de Tomaso as well as introducing new talent to the roster including DJ City, Nimmo, Shay Shaz, Hifi Sean, Joshua James + Xols.

I curate the compilation much as I do a DJ set, so there is a voyage of sorts in listening to the compilation as a whole. I encourage the listener to listen as you would an album, although they of course work solo as well.

A 10-track long journey forms a unique force of anthemic sounds, tapping into nostalgia but never pulling away from today's references. No Tears In The Backroom Vol. 2 serves as a dance-heavy pursuit aiming to not hold back.

The label profits from the new compilation are going to charity. Polari has previously raised money for All Out.

Doctors Without Borders is a politically neutral Non-Governmental Organisation whose main objective is to treat people in regions of the world where they are most needed. They are currently most active in Gaza and have a further 70 projects active in the world.

Berlin based DJ and producer Michael Lane lands on Polari imprint with an energetic debut three-track EP entitled Leeloo.

Michael on the production process; "I love trying to find the sweet spot between fun and emotional, where you start clicking your fan then get swept up into something deeper. For this EP I relied on old favourites like cowbells, congas and squelchy bass as a foundation, then brought in sounds like Vangelis' CS-80, Prophet brass, and Mellotron choir to elevate things. I hope they hit that sweet spot and can be a tool to help transition a dancefloor from one feeling to another. I've been a big fan of Cormac for a long while, so it's an honour and an utter delight to be releasing these on Polari."


Cormac continues on Lane‘s release; I met Michael some time ago at the airport. He’s been sending me edits and tracks since then, many of which have ended up in my sets.

I think this ep is a great intro of Michaels musical style and knowledge. I’m touched that his debut EP is with Polari.


Out on 3rd of May digitally, the EP embodies a signature Polari sound transcending time and space and immersing listeners into a time capsule of sweaty disco all-nighters.

Cormac on welcoming Bestley to Polari:

“When I first heard Bestley’s 2022 release, Ethereal Frequency, I was immediately transported into an Amanda Lear cosmic fantasy. Since then, I’ve been eager to bring them into the Polari family. Bestley’s sound and spirit align perfectly with what we’re building at Polari—a blend of innovation and homage to the roots of dance music. While house music is where it all began, before house, we had disco. Disco Drama is a pure disco anthem and a beautiful addition to our roster.”

This release also features a stellar dub remix from the renowned HiFi Sean, making his much-anticipated return to the label. His signature sound complements Bestley’s original, elevating the track to new heights.

Bestley on the creation of the release:

“Disco Drama was born during the lockdown, while I was navigating the end of a toxic relationship. It’s a song about escaping loneliness, confronting gaslighting, and yearning for something better. At a time when I couldn’t find solace on the dancefloor, I found it in songwriting. I wanted to channel the frantic energy of disco legends like Sylvester and ABBA, but I was still new to music production. That’s when HiFi Sean stepped in—he took my whirlwind of ideas and helped bring them to life. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created together, and I’m so grateful to Cormac and Sean for their support.”

2024 looks even bigger and brighter for this rising star with an album in the works and the formation of a live show. Until then, Disco Drama will be released on October 4th.

Polari family welcomes the return of Sean Den with a long-Awaited two-Track EP, Summer In London, out digitally on October 25th.

Over the past few years, Sean has focused on music production, gaining recognition through releases on Polari Records, The Disco Express, and Stories Recordings, which have led to performances across Ireland and Europe.

Cormac, founder of Polari, said, "A Sean Den EP is long overdue, and we’re thrilled to have him back after his contribution to our first compilation." Sean’s Pamela Stanley edit also made waves as the first Polari Pansy edit, thriving on the festival circuit this summer.

The Summer in London EP features two tracks that perfectly capture the essence of summer, ideal for sunrise or closing sets. Sean's music has garnered support from notable figures like fka.m4a, Johannes Albert, Cormac, TSHA, and Sarah Story, with play across venues like DC-10 and on BBC Radio One.

Set for release on November 29th, The Loving EP sees Romain FX and Michael Cignarale deliver three powerful, groove-laden tracks on Cormac’s Polari label. This captivating release embodies both artists’ flair for creating unforgettable dancefloor moments, packed with intensity, and sensuality.

The journey begins with ‘Mallet Ballet‘, where Romain FX’s refined production shines through. With percussive rhythms and anthem-like vocals it is a timeless cut in the making, Mallet Ballet promises to be an instant classic.

Next up, ‘Cum Together‘—a collaboration between Romain FX and Michael Cignarale—provides an electrifying experience. This track exudes a slow-burning lusciousness, guided by Cignarale’s haunting vocal delivery. Running for a full eight minutes, Cum Together builds layer upon layer of atmosphere, evoking the golden age of dance music while pushing it forward.

Cormac‘s Polari label kicks off the year with CYRK‘s new dance-floor focused release. The Heat drops 21st of February.

Cormac on CYRK‘s upcoming single; ‘‘CYRK are to date the most released artist on Polari. It’s a bit of a love affair (which is fitting as they are a love story also). The leather mix of this release is so sexy and the house mix hits it every set.‘‘

Collaborating with Maryland-born singer, songwriter, and composer Yona Marie - The vocals embody a suave nuance amplifying the tracks.

CYRK on their upcoming release;  ‘‘We were playing some early Underground Resistance vocal Detroit techno in one of our sets (Living for the Night) and thought we would try to produce that kind of 90s 909 based fast house music, After producing the initial track, we began the search for a vocalist and were thrilled to discover Yona Marie. Her voice brought the track to life, and we decided to experiment further with a ‘Leather Mix’—a darker, moodier version of the original. For the radio edit, we had some help from Marco Freivogel, as it was a challenge deciding what to trim from the track.‘‘
