An excerpt from a longer recording made between around 03:00 to 04:00, long before first light, in the Coorong region, near Narrung. Recent heavy rains inland have brought much fresh water downriver, reducing the salinity of the Coorong waters and adjacent lakes, which has resulted in a blessed influx of birds. The location of the recording is at least 15 kilometres from the Coorong, but traces of the Coorong's signature relentless deep roar are audible from here.

Recorded on land of the Ngarindjerri people that is now either National Park or privately owned pastoral land.

“Gifting Senselessly In Endless Lavishness” is a title taken from a book by Bojana Kunst. The music is very generous, almost indulgent. The first thing I wrote on the piece was the organ intro, I wanted to make something ecstatic and soulful, and the rest of the song flowed naturally into different sections. Working with an RnB drum beat like that was a first for me. It’s a very grounded quality that gives a good contrast to the undulating waves of 12-string guitar harmonics.” - Kim Myhr

A team of experts, including scientists and musicians, has created a new way to explore the images and data from the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope. The first two tracks map the prismatic landscapes of the Cosmic Cliffs in the Carina Nebula as well as two views of the Southern Ring Nebula. A third track plays the notes of a transmission spectrum, which graphs the atmospheric characteristics of hot gas giant exoplanet WASP-96 b. All allow listeners to pick out key features and experience the data in a new way.

To breathe, is to activate a certain space. Short breaths, deep breaths, dying breaths or sensual ones - they evoke variety of features and peculiarities that the breath embodies. Breath is also a precondition of voice, and further, of a spoken word. Paving the path for every physiological and philosophical activity, breath is essential to all we do and all that we are. 
Auditory situations in this piece are fluidly changing from one to another in a constant fluctuation and transfiguration of the musical material. Acoustic spaces inside of which the music is being situated, give room for the sounds to appear, to change and disappear, develop and transform, and inside of these spaces, the ear can swift freely from one sound object to another in a spatial and non-linear listening experience.

Commissioned for the Tingles & Clicks project by the Musikprotokoll 2020 and supported by the program "Creative Europe" of the European Union and SHAPE platform.

The work was presented in ambisonics, binaural and stereo formats. It was composed for an interactive environment, and the sections (structure, duration) were open. This is one of its renderings (structure and format-wise), made for the presentation at Radio Belgrade in 2020.

Presented at Musikprotokoll, Graz, at Radio Belgrade 3, CYNETART festival and Ö1 radio (Zeit-Ton radio show).
