Apart from their prolific work as producers they’ve been traveling the globe as Peak time DJ’s and playing at some of the best events on the planet. They’ve been smashing it up at Ultra, Tomorrowland and Awakenings to name a few, plus blessing the decks in legendary clubs such as Amnesia Ibiza, Crobar Buenos Aires, and Womb Tokyo. It’s clear that their euphoric-pumping sounds have lifted the roof on a global level...

Pig&Dan’s productions have been released on renowned labels such as Sven Vath's Cocoon Recordings, Slam's Soma, John Digweed's Bedrock, Monika Kruse's Terminal M and Richie Hawtins Plus 8 ... Apart from their extensive discography they’ve collaborated and remixed for the some of the industries greats including Underworld, DEADMAU5, John Digweed, and Innercity with their massive classic Goodlife...

After so many years in the business plus four albums under their belt, the dynamic duo took it upon themselves to push their personal envelope on LP number five by producing the much acclaimed downtempo album “Destination Unknown”. Boasting flavors of Hip-Hop, Dub and soul they managed to top the Beatport chart from more than 4 months in a genre they have never topped previously. It seems there are no boundaries when talking of Pig&Dan’s diversity.

Their latest label ELEVATE is very much their baby. As always they’re devoted to pushing the envelope further. ELEVATE boasts a family of artists that really get under their skin sonically. With releases by Alberto Ruiz, Monika Kruse, Steve Parker, and Mark Reeve there’s a clear-cut signal being broadcast by the two. I recorded these, using only the Roland T8 drum machine, outside as it got dark.
The first one I did at the beach in Crete (130 bpm) and the second one, a week later, in a park in Vienna (120bpm).
These spontaneous sessions are so much fun, specially at such beautiful places.

After having a little rant on youtube about one of the Eric Prydz sets from Ibiza 2017 being a really cheesy set not very reminiscent of his early days,  I decided to upload this.

Having been to Leeds for university I had a chance to see this guy under the name Cirez D at a famous club called Northern Light (which has been shut down since).

Pole Position is an exhilarating new project born in the vibrant city of Barcelona, brought to life by two highly experienced and renowned figures in the music industry: Loïc Le Joliff, the visionary director and founder of Brunch Electronik, and Jaime Alguersuari, a former Red Bull Formula 1 driver now making his mark in the music world as Squire. Loïc’s musical journey began in Montreal, where he unearthed his profound passion for electronic music. His career took off with the creation of his own label and a solo DJ career under the name Lee Jo Life. His path eventually led him to Barcelona, where he launched Brunch Electronik. It was here, at one of his events, that he crossed paths with Jaime Alguersuari. Jaime, once celebrated as one of the youngest drivers in Formula 1 history, has seamlessly transitioned into the music industry, rebranding himself as Squire. The immediate connection between Loïc and Jaime was fueled by their shared passions for music and Formula 1. Their discerning taste in music and innovative approach to sound quickly revealed their shared influences, ranging from Jazz, Soul, and Hip Hop to Funk and evolving soundscapes. This synergy inspired them to create a new record label and social brand in Barcelona, leading to the birth of Ànims. The label’s releases have captured the attention of iconic artists such as me, Dixon, Adriatique, Solomun, John Digweed, and Carl Cox. With a dynamic lineup of releases scheduled for 2024, including an EP and several remixes, Pole Position is poised to lead listeners on an electrifying musical journey. In addition to their production work, Pole Position is making waves on the live scene with a packed schedule of national and international shows. Their performances are gaining widespread acclaim, further establishing their reputation in the global electronic music community.
