Robin Wang is Sam Goku, a Munich based DJ & Producer.
It’s not often that an artist succeeds in crafting a modern sound that effortlessly blends elements of their roots with everything dance music enthusiasts hold dear: blended textures, hypnotic repetition, and a touch of cheeky, unexpected madness.
Sam Goku brings this approach to both his productions and his performances. With appearances at some of Europe’s most respected clubs and a standout eclectic set at the final edition of Secret Garden Party, he has steadily built a reputation as a selector with a unique perspective.
Seamlessly navigating a spectrum of subgenres within (leftfield) house, techno, and bass music, his sets balance buoyant ease with intricate depth, showcasing genuine attention to rhythm, melody, and sonic detail.
Beyond the dance floor, Sam Goku curates Yellow River Radio, a monthly show on Munich’s Radio80k, where he shares his love for diverse sonic worlds that extend beyond traditional dance music boundaries.
