** Project ELITE Contra (NES) Timers V2 (with intro tune and Out of Time Event Timers Below)**

Here's a selection of 2 Minute timers for use with the board game Project ELITE, featuring a Contra theme.

• 02. Enemy Base
• 03. Waterfall
• 04. Snowfield
• 05. Fort Firestorm
• 06. Energy Zone
• 07. Alien's Lair
• 08. Boss Battle

After the starting tune plays out, you'll hear a chime! This is your signal to pick up your dice and begin play!
Throughout the track, you will hear explosion effects, marking :30, 1:00, and 1:30 respectively. 
An alarm will sound near the end warning you to finish the fight!
A final sound effect will play signaling the end of the Action Phase. You won't miss it!

Feel free to use them in any order, or choose your favorite songs.

Play the following Victory theme if you win the game!:

Because there are a possible 8 rounds in Project ELITE, and only 7 suitable Contra tracks, I added an additional track from the game Super C.


UPDATE 4/29/2023: NEW Out of Time 1:40 timers!

Here's a selection of REDUCED 1:40 timers for use with the board game Project ELITE.
One is a retooled Contra timer, the rest are bonus tracks from other Konami games with a somewhat similar sound.

• 13. (Reduced) S.C.A.T. Astrotube


Use these timers when the Event Card 'Out of Time' is in play.
By default, I would suggest substituting the [02. Enemy Base] track from the original set with this new Reduced version.
Then whenever the Out of Time card is in play (and it will be, unless you're playing on EASY difficulty), play this new track instead.

It's possible you may play multiple rounds while the 'Out of Time' Event is active.
In this case, you can repeat the Enemy Base track, or try one of the bonus tracks.


After the starting sound effect whooshes in, you'll hear a shocking noise indicating that this is one of the reduced time tracks!
This is your signal to pick up your dice and begin play!
Throughout the track, you will hear explosion effects, marking :25, :50, and 1:15 respectively. 
An alarm will sound near the end warning you to finish the fight!
A final sound effect will play signaling the end of the Action Phase. You won't miss it!

After completing the 'Out of Time' Event, continue using the regular 2:00 timers.

Project ELITE - Contra Timers

02. Enemy Base

Ever wanted to experience your favorite board game, ESCAPE the Curse of the Temple, along with the themes of Spelunker HD?

Well, now you can!
This mix features popular tracks and audio from the modern day classic 'Spelunker HD' for the PS3 game console.

ESCAPE cues have been retained at their original marks in relation to each other. You still only have 10 minutes to escape the temple!

A calming and focusing track has been added at the beginning to allow game set up or mental preparation. From there, follow the cues and ESCAPE the temple!

When you hear the Gong resurrecting the spirits of spelunkers who didn't make it out of the temple, run for your lives to the safe chamber!... And watch out.. that dastardly 'Black Spelunker' is around, and when he sounds the gong three times, the temple will begin to collapse, so high-tail it out of there! If you're not in a safe area when the doors shut, and the death jingle chimes, you're in big trouble!  Of course, all the rules for ESCAPE the Curse of the Temple are still in effect. 

Now try to get out alive!
