He makes banging club tracks with the intent to make you lose your shit at the rave.  The SlowRolla sound borrows from footwork, techno, jungle, and breaks but spins it back in a refreshing manner. Chicago Footwork legend DJ MANNY is back on Moveltraxx with a new EP, 1 year after his classic "Feet Start Dancing" EP and a few months after his Planet Mu LP.

On this new record, the Teklife mainstay explores Jungle, Ghetto House and Dancehall influences, flawlessly incorporating those in his always boundaries-pushing Juke and Footwork formula. EP opener "Feel The Love" pays homage to Stardust's French Touch classic "Music Sound Better With You" while "Get Freaky" gives you a taste of what a 2024 Dance Mania record would probably sound like. Eponymous track "Escape Reality" manages to be both meditative and banging and "Reggae My Way" is probably the most unique Footwork record you have heard in ages. Street Bangers Factory classic "Go Down" closes the EP as a bonus track. Recently named by Mixmag "Artist That Made 2023", it's clear that Manny has no intention to slow things down in 2024.

Kaval - Meditate

French collective Craquages present their second VA 'CRAQUAGES VOL.2', gathering 11 tracks crafted by carefully selected artists from the Bass/Break scene, asking each to paint their personnal view of "club music". BisouBisou, one of the 3 co-founders, who rides between the sugary tracks of his mix series R’n’Break and the bitter beats of his duo Les Déménageurs Bressons, comes strong with his track 'Kassos Social Club' on this compilation.

With this track, BisouBisou conveys his personnal view of what creates that jubilation when playing club tools, scrounging here and there in his prefered electronic styles like DnB, Juke and Techno music selected elements and details. 'Kassos Social Club', with its twisted and glitched breaks alongside gripping drums and minimalist vocals, comes out as a redoubtable club tool that'll definitely shake the dancefloors that'll encounter its power. [PREMIERE] BisouBisou - Kassos Social Club [CRAQUAGES]

Polish Juke’s first release of the year (and in over a year!) comes from a home-team heavyweight. Half of the iconic We Rob Rave duo, DJ, producer and engineer whose sonic imprint is present throughout the label’s catalogue - from his own productions all the way to his mastering work. Dubsknit, this time under an eerily similar alias SKNIT, delivers another installment into his extensive discography right to your doorstep in the form of a hectic six-tracker - “LOOP”.

To kick things off, right off the bat we’re hit with a loud and blasting double-header of “SLUSH” and “HEAT”, where thick kicks intertwine with synthetic and roaring sounds and skeletal melodies. As the artist himself mentions, to go a little bit against the grain of the infamous, lush WRR work, he decided to strip things down a notch and focus on the electro-infused, dubby bare bones of dance music. Right in the middle of the record, we’re headed into ravier territories, with four-to-the-floor, very Chicago-esque aesthetics of “FOOSY” and beautiful vocal chops of the energetic “YO FREE”. What follows is a peak-time bomb with the We Rob Rave running mate PZG called “BLOOD” which will most definitely turn out to be both a crowd and DJ favourite. To shut things off, SKNIT serves the halftime-leaning, euphoric “I COULD LOVE” with yet another example of his amazing understanding of working around vocals, reminiscent of the many hits in the We Rob Rave/Dubsknit realm.

Zagreb's EtherwerkZ is back with 'Ascension Vol. 2', the leftfield-infused second volume of their VA series, once again serving up high vibrational frequencies to create that magic transcendental dance floor experience.

The compilation kicks off with a heavy, raw halftime/bass-hole riddim from Bristol Amity collective's unstoppable soundboy Elpac.
