Longtime friends and musical collaborators Max Essa and Eddie C join the RNT fold with a 4 tracker of melancholic and exquisitely produced chilled out disco. Begun as a lockdown project, the We Live In The Hills EP explores a vast palette of sonic soundscapes, from the shimmering guitars and acid lines of Melon Stepping, to the insistent rolling bass and whimsical synths of Save Me, the deep funk of the EP’s title track, and the late nite driving soundtrack stylings of Sixth Bridge. This EP tells a hopeful story of emerging from isolation and doubt, like a lovely musical sunrise after a long dark night.

First up, 'Sea To Sky' gives us a moderately stripped-back soundscape to explore, fusing distant pad textures with highly melodic bass notation and a steady feeling of eeriness. 

'Bring It Back', a much quicker arrangement with more wooden-sounding drum instrumentation, fused by bulging sub-bass patterns, all leading towards a super sub-heavy breakdown towards the track's outro. Top stuff!"
