I haven't done a multitrack recording in a long time, just put this together for fun. I'm an untrained sax player and wanted to finally use it for something. I used to always put together silly or joke releases for April Fool's Day, so April Fools. 

The title was the original name for the noisecore project Nasopharynx until the day of the first release around this time in 2016. It was inspired by the Godflesh and Agoraphobic Nosebleed songs of the same name.

After a few busy months i'm returned to my synthesizers! For this simple jam i used the Korg Volca Keys with a simple drone style sequence, poly oscillator with a light LFO on pitch and filter, the Korg Monotron as noise / sweeps generator, an old Realistic Stereo Disco Mixer for submix plugged into a Zoom G1on digital multi FX with a custom stereo chain. I added a footage of a recent exploration in the unused basement of a 1850 palace. Enjoy!

I went to a showroom for a store that sells medium to large size bunkers. 
In the parking lot there was an old minivan, 
that had obviously been there for a while.
I found it unlocked
There was a small spiral notebook on the dashboard. 

Opening it I found about ten different variations of a note, 
written with a marker pen. 
The front page edit was the most complete, 
though many pages had clearly been ripped off. 

“Sometimes I like to use words 
like leveling up
and moving forward
as if I were my own motivational speaker. 
Then there’s times when I really want 
to find new and innovative ways to disengage. 

I find myself just unwilling to keep up the struggle
for whatever the heck it was I hoped for at one point or another.
Most of life is annoying and painful, 
there’s no real end to that, 
but stability itself makes it tolerable.
It’s easy to cope with life’s crazy 
when you have a warm place to sleep and plenty to eat.

The scope of our lives expands and contracts,
it’s easy to give up in a moment
things that will be important to our future selves.
Sometimes we have to give up the known for the unknown,
based on nothing more than speculation.
Sometimes we’re really sure
that the repercussions of our actions will be dire,
but we just have to do them anyway.”

Between the seats of the van 
were a couple of styrofoam coffee cups,
and half a pack of Marlboro cigarettes.
The rest of the van seemed to be not cleaned so much as emptied.
I wondered what happened to the person that wrote such a note
and what else they might have had to say. 
I thought to report the vehicle to someone, 
maybe look in the glove box for any other information, 
then I thought a letter so profound might not be written
by someone who wanted to be found. 
I looked at the tree sap encrusted van, 
then over at the shiny black bunkers on display. 
I looked to the sign above each bunker, 
describing each one with it’s clever name, 
and attributes written in big friendly letters.
Then I looked at the note. 

I’m pretty sure I came 
to the fancy bunker dealership looking for answers. 
I had imagined these answers to take the form 
of physical dimensions, specifications, pricing and finance options. 
I left with bigger questions and a lot less interest 
in shiny metal bunkers. 
I looked back at the old car rusting in the shade,
I looked back at the names in big friendly letters. 
Why?

Repetition is based on body rhythms, so we identify with the heartbeat, or with walking, or with breathing.  It's hard to say what I meant by "as we know it." I’m so excited to have sex on camera again and since I’m back and forth all the time I can be in Los Angeles in a few hours. I use a huge gong of about 5.5-foot diameter, a Chinese gong.  I've agreed to do at least three or four, as long as they don't go weird. One spherical auditorium was realized according to my suggestions in 1970, in Osaka, during the Folsom Street Fair, by a German architect.  I didn’t quit porn and become a square. How did you manage this?
