When it comes to Hip-Hop, Oklahoma is not usually the first place that comes to mind; but when fans hear the pure lyricism of Polo Tha Pave-God-it quickly changes their mind.  With every single and collaboration he touches turning into an instant classic, Polo Tha Pave-God is no stranger to the world of success.

 

Originally debuting under the name P.OL.O (Pimps Only Live Once), Polo Tha Pave-God has released several mixtapes and projects that made him a major contender in southern Hip-Hop. Teaming up with Houston heavy weights including Camillionaire and Slim Thug, Polo was heard on major radio stations across the south and Midwest. Influenced by some of the most legendary artists in the game including A Tribe Called Quest, Das EFX, Keith Murray, Jay Z, Beanie Sigel, Master P, E-40, Dipset, Pimp C, Bun B, 8Ball and MJG, Outkast, Eminem, Beasties Boys, Nirvana, and Sade; Polo Tha Pave-God brings a classic and unique style that the game desperately needs.

 

A Hip-Hop fan and business man to the core, his strategic thoughts and calculated moves are not only apparent in his music but also how he lives his life and conducts business. Taking it back to the roots, Polo Tha Pave-God’s primary focus consists on paving the way for Hip-Hop in Oklahoma and giving fans the best shows and music possible.

 

With the release of his latest single, “Out Da Nawf” produced by Cutta Classics, fans got a glimpse of the lyrical Polo they grew to know and love. After being received with major praise, Polo looked at it as a new avenue to reintroduce himself and his mission. Adding “Tha Pave-God” to his moniker, Polo Tha Pave-God was born to pave the way and establish Oklahoma as a source for Hip-Hop.  

 

“With my new album, I really just want to create a blueprint for others to follow, Polo Tha Pave-God said. “Not in the sense of jacking my style, but more so of saying these are the steps you need to take to be successful.”

 

With a new lease on his professional life and new inspiration musically, fans can expect a new sound with more lyricism on his upcoming project due out soon.

 

“Ultimately my goal is to inspire people out there to just keep going,” Polo continued. “I love the direction that I’m going with this album and I hope that fans will see that it was definitely worth the wait.”
