Rehearsal for my modular synth am at the modular synth meet in Fischbach - basically in the middle of nowhere. May evolve into a full track.

Fischbacher Schule

An Eurorack Patch with four LFOs and a BBD module. Created in Spring for a jamsession with a friend who passed away before we could jam together. Recorded in one take, some compression added. RIP, Markus.

The Patch Never Played

This is a live recording of an improvisation at Unperfekthaus in Essen Germany in July 2009. Me and Thomas Brück (The Voyager Project) playing a huge bunch of Synthesizer and Sampler in a round room with nearly 35°C. In my imagination, when I hear this track I see a butterfly flying across a wide meadow with a lot of colerful flowers. Soon after, another butterfly comes across and they're dancing in the afternoon sun, touching some blooms and at the end … kissing each other the kiss of true love.

Sensual Butterflies

The latest EP by Dense starts with some lovely happy vibes and his remix from familiar "Shell & Seal" with GMO,  before gently diving into familiar dimensions of density. 
Track 2 is a Mystic Crock remix of “The Great Unkown” and track three is a Dense remix for Mystic Crock, a fellow German producer. Denses unmistakable sense of drive gives these productions a clear direction, pushing forward, like a space-travel. Power and mystery blend together seamlessly. The finale is a smooth progressive remix ride by Maluns that takes the listener back into the atmosphere like a returning space-ship.

Another live improvisation of me and The Voyager Project at Unperfekthaus in Essen/Germany April, 18th 2009. We created this track at the end of a long day of improvisations at 8pm, and I was very tired after playing this track. For me, this is the best recording we've made this day. I love this track very much. Overall this was a markable day for me in my life, because after an absence of over 20 years, the old team of „First Voyage“ played together again. The result was stunning. Based on the famous Berlin School, we've created a new sound and found our own style at the end of the day. This was much more than I expected in the morning.

Dense delivers another fine EP full of smoothness and cosmic power. The first track, together with DJ Aquarius, is a rolling chill-trance delight that gets the neurons firing in all the right places. You will have a hard time staying still with this one. The second track is a remix by Fourth Dimension, adding his extra layer of mystique and glitter.
