A new one of the funkier type. That whole track evolved around a bass-line I started writing, i then added Nate Smith style, simple funk drums. The majority of the track was made on the Prophet Rev2, Argon 8x, Uno Synth Pro and Roland XV5080. 

Galactic Groover

I made this at the start of 2025. I dug out my old E-MU sampler and went to town on it. The entire track is made using the sampler and recorded through Logic Pro X. I'm a retro-head by nature so this felt like a nice piece to write with such a vintage synth. 

Present Imperfect

I wrote this back in 2023 as an homage to an old friend who passed away. The title describes the town I live in and its lovely harbour. To make the track it used just about every synth I own and a plethora of software synths. 

Stoney Harbour Breakdown

I made this recently. Having acquired a Roland Gaia 2 synthesizer, I put it through its paces by making this entire track with it. I used a software Linn-Drum for the main drums. 

Gaia Funk

I made this track in 2025. There are some classic sounds in there such as the D-50 gritarr for a solo. I mainly used the Gaia 2, Rev2 and Augmented brass/voice for the track. Drums are Linn-Drum, TR606/CR78. 

Dark Times

I made this track in 2025. Notable use of (royalty free) samples for the middle rap. I also used the Arturia Vocoder for a repetitive loop to support the chords at the end. The track is predominantly made using software synths and drum machine but with the addition of the Prophet Rev2 and the Hydrasynth.

Altostratus

I made this track back in 2023. It's pretty much a showcase of the ASM Hydrasynth. A couple of sounds came from the Argon 8X and I used a few drum machine apps 909/808/Linn. All the weird robotic sounds are early patches I made on the Hydrasynth.  

Penultima

Electronic musician based in Aberdeen. I try and make as much music as I can, covering as many types of music making I can. I predominantly use hardware however I also use some software and even an iPad to broaden the scope of what I can work with. All criticism or feedback welcome but please keep it clean.
