Next up on Nightcolours is La Mano, the alias of UK based producer Carlo Bragagnini. With previous releases on the likes of Secret Factory & Through Gods Own Eyes, he's also caught the attention of Bicep and recorded a mix for their podcast series. With a sound forged on melody and emotion with influence from Italo-Disco right through to Progressive, his productions have been supported by DJs such as Ame, Man Power, Jennifer Cardini, Henry Saiz and many more. Solo Dancer is a melodic progressive gem, swirling arps, lush textured pads and nagging riffs piledrive the track forward to its delicious climax. Taking on remix duties is Dark Disco maestro Man2.0 who delivers a thumping, throbbing beast of a rework modelled around ever ascending melodies and snapping, snarling snare drums. Funboys is a Norwegian-Australian-Belgian music collaboration, born from a mutual penchant for late nights, stiff drinks, bad dance-moves, techno and punk. Nine years ago, the Funboys lads started meeting up in a Gold Coast studio on Friday afternoons with the aim of finishing a baker’s dozen beers as well as an edit that Audun could play out the very same night in the club.

After overcoming their cultural differences and associated language barriers the natural progression from these humble and beer-battered beginnings was to venture into writing original Funboys material; house and techno, often rooted in a punk attitude.

Funboys has released a variety of music on Tronik Youth’s UK label NEIN Records, Golden Bug’s French label La Belle Records, and Australian labels Unknown Records, Here To Hell, Sweat It Out, Club Sweat, and Future Classic.

The first strike, the double 12inch “EARQUAKE 1991“ with a total of 7 tracks, includes "Love Inc.: Trance Atlantic XS" and "Mike Ink: Dialogue E.P." - two absolute cult classics of the early nine-zero-nine and three-zero-three acid-hysteria era. As a kind of "original sound commentary" on the music of that time, there is also a new interpretation of the interview-based art piece "Wolfgang Voigt - Du musst nichts Sagen", which is combined with a Wolfgang Voigt hit that has been out of print for a long time and which the connoisseur will immediately recognize.
