n-gon waves 1 excerpt

This is a first experimental recording of the shuffled samples noise effect. It is an improvisation with complementary n-gon waves that were processed with a prototype shuffled samples noise effect. It was created in August 2019 with a prototype of a complementary n-gon waves oscillator VST plugin I developed in 2019 in the programming language C using the JUCE framework. The code was still a bit buggy at the time and hence the audio is actually a bit glitchy. As it is a noise effect the glitch is hardly audible, but the bug is observable when the audio is visualised with connecting the audio of the two channels to the xy-inputs of a CRT oscilloscope or a digital oscilloscope. However, the audio effect is quite similar to that of the newer shuffled samples noise effect(without the glitch/bug), which is described in the DAFx 2020 paper Complementary N-gon Waves and Shuffled Samples Noise: https://dafx2020.mdw.ac.at/proceedings/papers/DAFx2020_paper_65.pdf
