A Dub Techno Journey is a compilation that traverses Dantes circles of Hell, transforming them into hypnotic and profound soundscapes. Each track represents a canto from Dantes Inferno, interpreted by producers from different parts of the world, united by a shared sensitivity for dub techno vibrations. The idea was conceived by Francesco Tamburrano, who envisioned a musical journey blending literature and sonic exploration, and took shape through the collaboration with the label Superordinate, always attentive to visionary projects with an international scope. The result is a dark and immersive path, where enveloping basslines and deep echoes guide the listener on a sonic pilgrimage through Dantes Inferno.

Polynation - Why You Pt II

My remix for Max Cooper's Rule 110 from the remix album of 100 Hundred Billion Sparks. Max used my vocals on the original track, cutting them up and rearranging them, so it was a lot of fun for me to have the opportunity to do the same in turn with the completed track. 

For my version, I decided to bring to it my experience as a live performer by re-recording synth parts with live instruments. There’s harmonium replacing the synth chords, piano, violin scrapes, live recorded snare and kick and a completely new vocal I sing over the top. I even recorded the sound of the wheels on my chair, swivelling and rolling up and down a concrete floor for parts of the rhythm.

RULE 110 - Wilderthorn Remix

This remix had some really nice vocal and guitar parts, but when I combined them with my drums it didn't really work for me. So I decided to create a long build with the original parts, which finally drops into a more stripped down form to try and maintain the quality of the original elements. It's a bit of a combination of deepness with euphoria, which I hope still works, I guess I'll find out what you think about it soon enough!
