It tells you looking back to a place that we knew best - a place that we were comfortable in. We didn'y', we didn'y' realise it. Often, often, at that time, the old people would go without a meal, to provide a meal, for the young families, and that's, that's no exaggeration. 
We had nary a worry, you know, we could always get a plate of soup, or always a bed at night, always plenty of company at night, and er, we had a nice happy family, although we were all jammed in that one room, you know... So there I was.
That's no exaggeration.

Chris Gannon has been writing all kinds of music for 20 years under many monikers but mainly as Polyploid. 

With a style that can’t be pigeonholed or assigned a genre, reaching a mainstream audience was never an option and that’s just fine.

In the 1990s he was the co-director and a producing artist on his own techno/trance label Helix Records in Brighton releasing music by artists from the UK to New Zealand. 

His latest album 'Grow Your Own' was released on the ChillTribe label hailing from Norway.

Chris has transposed his rhythmic skills to his full time profession as an animator and interactive designer spending his free time creating delightful animations to make people smile.

He feels extremely lucky that his hobby is also his job.
