Following on from 'The Light', Ziger and Mind Conspiracy return to Eat My Hat with 'Metamorphosis'. Released last month, 'The Light' saw the frequent studio partners work more magic together, creating a colourful, progressive minded composition which ranks as one of their most well received to date. Now embarking on their fourth joint production the Greek duo unveil their latest studio creation entitled 'Metamorphosis', alongside a remix from Alexander Savvidi.

Beginning with the pulsating grooves of the Original Mix, Ziger and Mind Conspiracy marry fluid rhythms with heady effects and astral synth phrasing. Driving percussive arrangements and timely melodic accents add nicely to its mediative pulse, before a wave of ethereal vocal gates brings a new dimension to the track. Tense and mind bending in equal measure, the main break elevates mood further through wavy modulation and haunting effects, eventually giving way to a timely build, striking crescendo and exhilarating finale.

Making his label debut and providing the lone interpretation of 'Metamorphosis' is Alexander Savvidi. Hailing from the South of Russia, Alexander Savvidi is a composer and live-performer who entered the electronic music underground after a decade of work in the film industry. His HOROSHO imprint has served as the primary home for his powerful rhythms and atmospheric melodies, while international tastemakers such as Eelke Kleijn and Newmand have already supported his wor. Now adding Eat My Hat to his resume, Alexander debuts on the label with a stunning rendition of 'Metamorphosis'. Backed by a tough, techno inspired groove, Alexander's buzzing basslines and deliberate percussion quickly appease the senses. The main themes translate well with the primary synth lead and time-stretched vocals adding their own otherworldly flair. Quirky acid lines further saturate your senses, panning across the stereo field, while playing off emotive chord changes below, and ultimately making this breakless journey incredibly satisfying. A unique and inspired remix from Alexander Savvidi, which rounds out another memorable collaboration from Ziger and Mind Conspiracy. Don't miss it.

His ever-evolving sound adjusts its focus across a spectrum of moods that both shape and are shaped by his very essence.

As a producer for almost 10 years, the Art Vibes label boss has multiplied projects and relentlessly ran in the melodic techno & deep, organic, progressive house circuits, connecting with others on the path of music as therapy. The resulting listen is often haunting and thought-provoking, resonating a depth and pain that Veytik has come to seek safety in, not from.

Veytik’s style continuously evolves alongside his own growth and his response to world events. Featured on a variety of labels — Cafe De Anatolia, Shango Records, Harabe, Trndmsk, ICONYC, Closing Sounds, Tibetania Records, Camelriders, Souq Records, 90 Watts [Manual Music], Click Records, Re:Sound Music, and his imprint, Art Vibes—it wavers between eclectic influences, from ‘80s,  synth-infused cinematic, to the heyday of ecstatic trance music and more recent deep, melodic, and organic house sounds. His fusion of piano, guitar & sound design is always handcrafted, every project made from an internal emotion and voice within. Veytik will never take a project on he doesn't connect with. 

This last undertaking is reflected in his 'Akkulturatyon' mix series, a year-long project exploring how sharing culture and experiences through sound attacks prejudices and paves the way for progress. Uptempo positive energies mixed with similar yet melancholic vibes and live keys. And 'Akkulture' mixes which are a more downtempo & ancient-rooted sound.

After his disco project as D1rty Kickz where he toured and played 80's tech house & live talk box all over the world and after his his recent melodic techno theatrics, Veytik’s new deep chapter roams with the same dark undertones mixed with uplifting dualities. Crafting a place of obscurity, acceptance, and illumination. More than ever, the artist is ready to reach out, break barriers, and build bridges from all the facets of who we truly are—our whole.
