About the mix:-
This set is more than just a mix 〰️— it’s a reflection of moments collected over time. A deep ⚫️ journey through Progressive House and Melodic Techno, 🎚️ built with tracks that carry weight — both sonically and emotionally. 🖤

Opening with Matter’s “Wombat Forest”, the tone is set with cinematic tension and textured grooves. It's the kind of opener that hints at something expansive. ⛓️As we move into Nohan’s “Road to You” (Eli Nissan Remix), the mood shifts — warm, melancholic, and undeniably nostalgic. 🤍 🙌🏽Eli Nissan’s remix has been a standout since its release, often surfacing in unforgettable sets from the late 2010s. It brings back memories of sunset moments and after-hours dancefloors — a track that aged beautifully. 🖤

Hans Gerd’s “Sea Life” and Mike Rish’s “Shokl” hold down the midsection with moody, groove-driven energy. Then comes “Menq” (Nick Warren & Nicolas Rada Remix) — a deeply emotional rework of an already powerful original by Hraach & Armen Miran. This one has history; it’s the kind of track that’s been passed around for years among selectors who understand subtlety and emotion. Hearing it again here feels like meeting an old friend. 🎚️

〰️ Further in, tracks like Foglight’s “Over & Out” and Ruben Karapetyan’s “State of Progression” stretch the narrative, before the mix moves into more introspective territory. Guy J’s “Stranger In A Strange World” 🟰is a masterclass in melodic storytelling — a track that’s both spacious and detailed, timeless yet modern. 〰️

The mix closes with “Undergrowth” and “Elsewhere” from GMJ and Matter — two artists whose names are synonymous with the progressive underground. ➕ Their work captures everything this mix is about: layers, patience, and emotional depth. ⛓️‍💥

Dave Haco - a DJ with 18 years of experience. He has spent most of that time playing harder electronica, but he's never been able to limit himself to one genre, as he says, "there's too much goodness in this world to limit yourself." For several years now, he's been immersed in all types of house music, focusing primarily on progressive, organic, and deep. His selection also includes downtempo, which he's had the pleasure of performing for audiences on numerous occasions. SOULMEEX record label marks its first anniversary in November 2025 with a milestone release: the label’s debut 7-inch. This special edition offers a new opportunity to expand its catalogue of forward-thinking sounds while honoring the timeless spirit of vinyl.

For the occasion, SOULMEEX presents signature tracks from NYC-based artist Evan Michael, whose productions balance depth and groove with finesse. On Side A, “Drifted Past” flows with hypnotic textures and steady momentum, creating a journey that bridges nostalgia and modern club energy.
