This is my track for the jungle/retro Drum N Bass compilation organized by Telemist, with all proceeds going to charity. As you can image, im not exactly known for being a jungle producer, this is actually the first time i've attempted something like this. I wasn't thinking of participating, but after encouragement from telemist and some luck doing my own breaks from scratch, i decided to make it happen. This track showcases a more harmony-driven and songwriting first ethos that i hope to incorporate more regardless of whatever genre im doing at the moment. Hope you guys like it!

After a triumphant ascent to the top of the Beatport Drum & Bass charts with his release "We Return’’ back in 2024 followed by a spectacular debut solo release ‘’Disguise / War Business’’ that left the scene in awe, the London based producer Melysma is back once again on Yamatai Records with his latest master piece, "One / So Wrong." This release continues to showcase Melysma's unique and innovative approach to drum and bass, blending punchy drums accompanied with memorable head turning basslines.

Melysma, known for his versatility and dynamic sound, has previously released music on esteemed labels such as RAM Records, Sofa Sound, Symmetry Recordings and recently Dark Matter. His ability to traverse and merge the new age and classic sounds of drum and bass has earned him recognition and support from industry heavyweights, including Andy C, Bladerunner, and Break.

"One / So Wrong" marks Melysma's second solo project on Yamatai Records, and it once again is not one to miss. We love working with Alex as he supports and promotes the labels sound to the T. As a label favourite for the last 2 years we are happy to have him back once again flying the Yamatai flag.
