I feel like Undyne would have to be really depressed to the point that she feels useless in order for her to not do anything until the point where the human is about to erase the entire world, like Sans did. Otherwise, she would spring into action immediately. Maybe somebody died, and she didn't get to save them? After all, she does get depressed to the point where she doesn't even want to kill you, if you kill Mettaton and cause Alphys to kill herself, because she thinks that revenge won't bring anyone back, just like she says. Maybe all the murders that you cause would cause her to realize that she actually is useful, because she would realize that, due to her not trying to stop you, almost all of the entire kingdom fell apart. Maybe this realization would cause her to finally give it her all and fight you.

I forget if I’d explained it yet, but “Stanny” was a joke character in a series of DND campaigns I did with my friends. It’s still one of my fondest memories and Stanny is one of my favorite things to come out of it.

In this part of the campaign, Chi, the paladin of our jolly crew, discovered Stanny at this strange movie theater, where it turned out he was trying to get to this whole campaign, his job! When they discovered him, he had been promoted to the manager, and thus had all the power over this place. He had become a god, but trapped in an old black and white movie! From what I remember, the fight was crazy and we barely won…

I think those years were some of the best of my life…
