Mit einem Bein stehen sie im Großstadtdschungel von Berlin, mit dem anderen im Urwald vor den Toren der großen Stadt. Deshalb trifft der Sound von Kollektiv Ost den Nerv der Zeit mit raffinierten Alleinstellungsmerkmalen. Das Duo schafft es auf verblüffende Weise, die Erwartungen der Tanzfläche zu erfüllen und sie dabei immer wieder mit neuen Wendungen im Groove zu überraschen. So auch auf der Interflug EP, wo die beiden uns gleich dreimal hintereinander mit schwitzigem Groove und deliriösen Klangmustern wegfegen. The Berliner-by-choice and Criminal Bassline member gives us a cracking debut with his EP called August Morning, which contains 2 originals and two remixes. Without a doubt, the talented producer should not be left out of sight, confirmed by his release on Heinz Musik. With the remixers Fabian Vieregge and the Outta Limits figurehead Matan Caspi we come to an unanimous conclusion.

Dickes B is a bit more hypnotic, a bit more ethnic and a catchy, synthetic Arp immediately elicits a charge of adrenaline, which gives the spherical progressive number an even more intense pleasure.

Fabian Vieregge also serves a board with his Dickes B Remix. Without compromise, his version rumbles in a well-groomed way and directly generates weekend mood and euphoria. A mixture of dark projectiles, progressive vibes including brute basses and the catchi Arp results in a playful tight character.

Einen krachenden Einstand beschert uns der Wahlberliner sowie Criminal Bassline Member mit seiner EP namens August Morning, welche 2 Originale und zwei Remixe beherbergt. Ohne Zweifel gehört der talentierte Producer nicht mehr aus den Augen gelassen, bestätigt durch sein Release auf Heinz Musik. Mit den Remixern Fabian Vieregge und dem Outta Limits Aushängeschild Matan Caspi kommen wir hier auf ein einstimmiges Fazit.

Dickes B kommt ein bisschen hypnotischer daher, ein bisschen ethnic und ein greifender, synthetischer Arp entlocken einem sofort  eine Ladung Adrenalin, was der sphärisch progressiven Nummer noch einen intensiveren Genuss verleiht.

Auch Fabian Vieregge serviert ein Brett mit seinem Dickes B Remix. Wenig kompromisslos rumpelt seine Version gepflegt ins und erzeugt direkt Wochenendstimmung und Euphorie. Eine Mischung aus düsteren Geschossen, progressiven Vibes samt brachialen Bässen und dem catchi Arp ergibt einen verspielt strammen Charakter.

Wer diesen zungenakrobatischen Begriff hört oder sogar versucht ihn auszusprechen, wird natürlich als nächstes nach dessen Definition suchen. Wer fündig wird, mag so seine Schlüsse ziehen, jedoch ist, wie in dem Fall des, seit 2014 als DJ und Producer tätigen, Berliners die mischkonsumartige Verwendung von multiplen musikalischen Genres als zutreffende Bedeutung anzusehen. Resultierend daraus ist ein Sound, der durchs Raster fällt, dessen hauptsächliche Bestandteile ein Mix aus Deep Tech, Bass House, melodischen Techhouse, G-House und Mädchen-Techno bilden. Ab und an passiert es sogar, dass Elemente des Pop mit einfließen.
Seine ersten Auftritte genoss Polytoxikomanie im M.I.K.Z. oder auch im Sisyphos. Schnell bespielte er (fast) alle bekannten und minder bekannten Dancefloors der (Techno-)Hauptstadt. Es folgten verschiedene Gigs in diversen Städten in Deutschland, Schweiz und Russland sowie unvergessliche Stunden auf dem Feel Festival und dem Melt Festival.
Das Produzieren begann Polytoxikomanie noch bevor er das DJing für sich entdeckte. Bevor er in diversen House-Genres sein Zuhouse fand, versuchte er sich an Dubstep und Psytrance. Einzelne Bestandteile dieser Musikarten erkennt man auch in aktuellen Produktionen des Mischkonsumenten. Einige Tricks und Kniffe durfte er sich dabei von Joseph Disco abschauen.
