DJ Xed started as a b-boy almost from day one since the beginning of electro funk era. He started dj-ing in the late 80's. After almost 20 years of playing music he felt it was about time to start producing. He released for labels such as Crobot Muzik, Twilight 76, Elektropunkz and Subsonic Device. He also made remixes for various artists like Aux 88, Newcleus, N-ter, Morphogenetic and Paul Blackford. He devoted his life to a genre that he likes to call real electro and both are here to stay.

DJ Xed начинал как би-бой практически с самого начала эры электро-фанка. Диджеингом начал заниматься в конце 80-х. После почти 20 лет занятий музыкой он почувствовал, что пора заняться продюсированием.

promo tekst Funki Bizniz at the park: Rick Angel is actief als dj sinds 1992 en ook bij de Funki Bizniz aan de Stratumsedijk geen onbekende.
Hij draaide op talloze feesten en festivals in binnen- en buitenland, en of het nu in de donkere kelders van de Pillenfabriek was, of voor het podium van het Awakenings festival, grote kans dat je er als techno- of acidliefhebber kennis gemaakt hebt met zijn sets.
Zijn sounds varieert normaal van diepe techno, stevige acid of punchy tech-house, waarbij hij je steevast meeneemt op reis met zijn stuwende en opbouwende sets.
Bij Funki Bizniz in The Park zal Rick Angel zijn groovy en housey tools gebruiken om zijn unieke sfeer neer te zetten. Anders misschien dan je van hem gewend bent, en toch met zijn onbetwiste torenhoge kwaliteit.
