Australia’s Gallery of Modern Art commissioned Xiu Xiu to reinterpret the music from Twin Peaks for their David Lynch: Between Two Worlds exhibition. Since then, the band has performed select concerts all over the globe culminating in a proper studio album of the compositions - "Plays The Music of Twin Peaks."

The band called Deerhoof have a new song out! It's so weird because they are a band that does not even live in the same town but somehow they make musics! They like to keep in touch and also to make songs!!!!!! They are so weird!!!!! But then sometimes also they go to the same place to make the music! Electric noise! Have you ever been scared by your own shadow? That's what it's like to hear Debut, Deerhoof's new song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right now I'm scared because of Deerhoof!!!!!!!!!!! Greg Saunier plays the drums and also he knows the names of four snakes!!!!!!! Satomi Matsuzaki is playing a bass while someone knows a moth is eating their old varsity jacket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ed Rodriguez picked up a guitar and there were worms in someone's garden and they murmured blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! John Dieterich uses a guitar to play a song and there are old creepy frogs around your grandma's apartment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
