Really nice flute design and playing and good drive to the track. good job

Very nice emotional intro and a great change to a more electronic vibe.

I like a lot of the individual elements but it doesn't quite come together for me; all of the sounds are fairly soft in tone so it just doesn't have the energy i'm expecting for a four-on-the-floor dance tune

The percussion here is excellent. And the flute sound too.

The release of the flute is a bit harsh, I find. You've held the improvised melody well for most of it. Some nice harmonic moments in there!

when this snare first comes in here, it doesn't fit so well to my ears, but then as the other instruments come in it works very well in that context, to my ears

The Auld Skool Shimmy

This time - in Jan.23-round of the OneSynthChallenge - one Synth included in the DAW had to be used. Now, MuLab (by Mutools) is an affordable, but (at least for me) musically inspiring DAW with a slim but powerfull composer and including an extremely flexible synth called MUX. It's even possible to include another composer within the synth ....
Now this song is made with MuSynth, which contains synth- and effect-modules of MUX, but no samples at all.
I used 14 instances of MuSynth with some MUX-EQ, compressor, limiter, echo and reverb. Only in the master I used "MHorse P3" and "LoudMax" - both are available for free.

I really like the way this sounds. Sorry it's 8 minutes while moving slow. It does slowly develop and gets a bit more interesting in the second half. It is how it's meant to be. 

It may not add anything at all to the listening experience for you but FWIW I picture in my head a futuristic city of immortals who in order to be rejuvenated finally have to start mixing their DNA with other creatures. Is it a good thing or bad? It's a new thing. Turns out it's not terrible. Though there was a lot of trepidation and some factions preferred death.

Created with "Regency" virtual synthesizer from Nakst. 30 instances used to create a track.

This time I had a throwback to my earlier darksynth ideas. This synth is capable of some abrasive FM style sounds as well as classic subtractive ones. There are a lot of modulation possibilities and some effect to mangle the sound. It's also very light on the CPU. I had a lot of fun tweaking the presets and creating my own sounds.
