The next mix is coming in by two of Salon Des Amateurs' Residents @marijanaanajiram & @lucas-croon . Marijana is originating from Belgrade and came to Germany in 2013 for her scientific work, where she ended up meeting Lucas, Producer and DJ with a wide musical background. Lucas played in Bands such as BAR, The Klooms or Stabil Elite, and already had experience with DJing so it was natural he got her introduced into the equipment and techniques when she got offered her first gig.

Now they're here, spreading good vibes for the slow tribes!

It was recorded 2009 in a bar called »Gulasch« that I liked a lot when I had just moved to Berlin. A dirty little beer-spilling, bolognese mouth-greasing, vodka-breathing universe.
Wanted to reach 666 minutes but got too wasted in the end with my buddy Simon Wald-Lasowski… It's got everything: Lots of hits, swish Traktor FX, hellishly tipsy mixing and shitty mp3s ~ Hope you enjoy x 👻🫠

This mix is a deep dive into the legacy of a record collector that generously passed a crate of one-of-a-kind gems to @skism and me. We know who she is, but she decided to remain anonymous. In return we promised to make a mix and the project became a fascinating journey into the past of a music lover with a sweet spot for forgotten folkloristic music from remote places around the globe. On the other side of the spectrum we discovered a lot of krautish ambient excursions, some classical music and some very inspiring Jazz records. Known and unknown stuff. Old and contemporary. We tried our best to create mix which pays tribute to all these influences and failed a couple of times before we finally came to a result: 
A trippy ride from Asia to the western hemispheres and back.
