Karolinski (Karoline Hegrenes) is a 26 year old producer from Bergen, Norway - and is the head of the record label; FFDR - FJORDFJELLOGDALER, started in 2017 – through which she released her first single in the genre of Dub Techno. She is now set to release her first album - and here you go, here are the snippets.

Karoline has been DJ’ing at several parties and clubs around Norway and other places in the world for the past 10 years, but got quickly and deeply interested in music production, and has now spent her last 5 years in the studio.

August 2018 she was lucky enough to get invited to play at Northern-Europe's biggest festival for club music, (Quote: MixMag) Sommerøya, where she performed at main stage, alongside  great artists such as; ANNA, Claptone, NASTIA, Surgeon, KSMISK, Henry Saiz, Sebastian Mullaert and DJ Koze, to name a few.

Her love for skydiving has taken her around the globe and she has always brought her DJ controller and a portable studio for making music on the go. All songs on the album feature a sample recorded somewhere other than Norway, which gives Karoline a memory from that moment there and then.

FFDR is a Norwegian record label in collaboration with extreme sports athletes - founded by Karoline Hegrenes in 2017. The idea is to sign as many independent electronic music producers from the fjords mainly - but also from all over the world, and put the music together with awesome footage from some of the best extreme sports athletes there is.
