Der Name des Podcasts ist eine Anspielung auf Miss Menace Mixing-Style.
Denn Sie mag ihre Transitions zügig!
Für das Intro hat sich Mara etwas Besonderes einfallen lassen:
Die letzten berührenden Worte von Stephen Hawkings an die Öffentlichkeit gemixt mit 
"Aventurine" von der gleichnamigen EP von Sounddesign Maestro Ignez.

Bei 26 Tracks in ca. einer Stunde (siehe Tracklist Slide) startet die Reise mit ihrem alltime Fav Genre des 'hypnotischen, 'bleepy'-Groove basierend auf disharmonischen Synthpattern' - wie Sie es selbst gern beschreibt. 
Beim Zuhörer entsteht zunächst ein uncomfiy Feeling, aber genau das ist das reizvolle an diesen Sounds.
Dualität als Lebensmotto, was sich auch in ihrem Hairstyle wiederspiegelt, ist Phase. Schwarz gibt's halt nicht ohne Weiß - Kontraste sind wichtig im Leben.
Wichtig ist ihr allerdings, die Kick ist *nicht* der Protagonist. Rhythm, Drums, mächtige Drones und bleepy-Sequences mit gechoppten, fraktalen Vocals bilden gemeinsam mit meist einer Stani 909-Kick ein stimmiges Gesamtbild, was keine Hüfte ungeschwooft lässt.

Gegen Mitte des Sets wird es funkiger. Vocalparts gewinnen an Anteil und die Drums gewinnen ebenso mehr an Schwung.
Abschließend haut Menace noch ein paar Sambatracks rein, die ein wahrhaftiges Percussiongewitter mitliefern und Sommermoods aufkommen lassen.

@k_luisa is an artist from Germany currently living in the Ruhr Area. She is enthusiastic about all kinds of music since she was a kid but opens up most in techno music. Born and raised in a small town, now slowly becoming better known in the techno scene in Germany with her unique sound.
Usually her mixes have a constant pulse and high energy. Its always an captivating journey depending on her mood. The interaction of several tracks mixed together by intelligent layering keep her sets dynamic and tensional.
In this Podcast she expresses her cheerful side.

Born in England (Birmingham), she moved to Germany at the age of 9.
She has always been a music freak and grew up listening to Hip-Hop and R&B music. Through her mother, who was a DJ at a young age (hip-hop, soul), and her father, who made rap music, she quickly developed a passion to do something with music herself.
In her mid-23s, she discovered her love for techno when she moved to Berlin.
Now she stands at the DJ booth and mixes a hypnotically groovy techno sound with hip-hop influences.
