so what is it that im looking for?
i open my eyes and i see sky
i can smell the breeze, grass beneath my feet
today im gonna run far
but when i stop to breathe,
it's really hard to see past my doubts

it's been hard to listen to
all the things im goin thru and
they are hard to realize
when theyre always daily life
so ill step back, ill settle down,
stop and smell the roses every now and then
ill reflect again

that every time that i go down
it's a part of growing up
it's okay to feel the ground sometimes
no matter how high, ill never reach the sky
it is all around me

things aren't as bad as they seem
