A weathered Americana-noir descent into the 4 A.M. seam of the world. Featuring a baritone that blends church-grit with streetwear phrasing, the track is built on a half-time "dusty drum" shuffle, tremolo surf guitars, and a tape-warped Wurlitzer that moans like a far-off siren. It is a rhythmic chant for the "only the remain"—the moment the debt is paid and the self is used up. From the bleach-scented silence of a corner store to the saw-tooth sky of a jagged dawn, this is the sound of the shadow finally loosening its grip.
