Recorded during a winter of isolation at an Amish farmhouse, this album trades the synths of 2021’s Relativity for a haunting exploration of grief, societal critique, and resilience. Terrill’s struggles—his father’s near-fatal overdose, friends lost to suicide, and a fractured nation—pulse through tracks like the fierce “Lies For Power and Profit,” the caged “The Zoo,” and the gentle “Here and Now.” Echoing early Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, and Bright Eyes, it’s a forest of sound where vulnerability thrives. Step in and wander.
