Alex Poovey a.k.a PooveyBeatz is an American hip-hop/ rap producer based out of North Carolina. With much of his style having a heavy influence from music rooted from the south with heavy 808s, rhythmic hi hats, and simple melodies that make his style unique. Pooveybeatz  has always been influenced my music with his parents large collection of music and his uncle being a DJ around different clubs in the Charlotte, NC area. Pooveybeatz began his early production while attending UNC Pembroke when he was introduced to FL Studio. He began recording smaller artists in and out of the dorms and apartment complexes in the area.  He frequently entered beat competitions for critique and exposure with little fear and focus on marketing and networking. With his unique style and multiple influences from the south and genre of artists from NC, there will be plenty more to expect from this rising artist of production.
