Savages release their debut single Flying to Berlin / Husbands through Jehn’s (Savages vocalist) Pop Noire label as a download on 28 May. The single will also be available as a limited 7” later in June.

For Savages the intention was to create a sound, indestructible and musically solid, written for the stage, designed with enough nuances to provide a wide range of emotions. The songs aim to remind us that human beings haven't evolved so much, that music can still be straight to the point, efficient and exciting.

Johnny Hostile — Let it Out ft. Jehnny Beth

As an extension of the exploratory approach Johnny Hostile initiated, 4 remixers had a “carte blanche” to work around the piece in order to propose their own versions. The French producer @Rone-music, the London musician @penelopetrappes, the Brazilian-English duo @mixhell-official with Igor Cavalera of Sepultura, and Pop Noire’s new signature Cirrial have lent the game of remixing the track.

 At Pop Noire, a special attention is paid to the visual dimension, so another interpretation of the piece 'Work' is also suggested through the manipulation of images: the directors Antoine Carlier, Jehnny Beth, Johnny Hostile, Valery Meurée and Laurent Ripoll has directed images primed to go with the remixes.
