After releasing a handful of unorganised tunes on their Soundcloud, ambient-pop newcomer ascua makes his debut on Soul Feeder with his first full-length, “Glass Swan”. Here the Spanish producer processes a past physical and psychological trauma through minimalistic yet catchy synth melodies, ringing percussions and ethereal vocals.
The structure of “Glass Swan”, alternating between peaceful and haunting atmospheres, creates a loose sense of narration meant to portrait the shifting emotional state ascua found himself as he dealt with his own trauma. By turning his personal experience into music, ascua’s objective has shifted from that of simple catharsis to the creation of an intimate gift for everyone who has experienced or might experience a similar state of fragility and is looking for understanding and relief.

With this visit to Ukraine, bod [包家巷] supports our local scene in difficult times. We appreciate it. That DJ performance was filled with a fresh look on modern leftfield music and the performance was like an audio ninja dance, so the BRUKXT walls were shrouded in mysticism and powerful energy, where the artist completely owned the dance floor for 1.5 hours.

A 25-year-old vintage of youth - opening the wine jar of time, the once-burning emotions come alive again. This is a collection of compositions from over 20 to 30 years ago. The third volume is an instrumental album, including three themed suites: Memories of a French Film, Shadows of Flowers and Men, and Mysterious Dynasty, which are respectively categorized as youthful memories, narrative arias, and historical fantasies.

This compilation was made by beautiful humans from all around the world. It is a collection of 11 varied tracks. It is noisy, experimental, sometimes brutal, with choir, different languages, vocals, piano and drums... While the tracks are all different, they are united by the fight against domestic violence.

As you may know, this pandemic is a nightmare for women facing domestic and sexual abuse. In many situations they have been forced into lockdown with their abuser.

The money raised on Bandcamp will go to La Fédération Nationale Solidarité Femmes, a French charity helping women in distress. Please consider buying this release if you appreciate it and spread the word about the current situation.
