Fusion 2016 Live Sets

In the wilderness, lions and tigers are among the most ferocious animals. In the collective imagery, these enigmatic creatures metaphorically embrace braveness, vitality and growth. Said that, we can now introduce the Brazilian lion Arthur Moraes (AVM) and the French tigress Anne-Aude Bonnet (ShAnkAri), combining their respective strengths to release music under the alias A∀A. Yes, DJs and producers working in tandem is of course not a new thing, however, A∀A instil music with emotion by producing and performing a sound that fuses compassionate vibration and craves tranquilizer bass lines with fresh musical input that somehow we categorize the duo in a singular section. Ahead of being artists they're connected souls.

The duo's music falls slightly outside the realms of their solo projects but not that far. And that's the point: the fusion embodies driving moods, sparkling spontaneous melodies in a way that things turn transcendent, pointing toward our inner-dancefloors. Through 155 minutes the selection radiates different strains of Oriental music, showcasing variety and powerful rhythms without missing out on sensibility, hoping that music continues to present a worldwide language that all can tune into and be positively influenced by.

Landhouse & Raddantze (@landhouse-raddantze) presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.124

Für unsere #124 zeichnen sich diesmal die beiden Herren Landhouse&Raddantze aus Karlsruhe verantwortlich.

Seit nunmehr 4 Jahren gehen die beiden Freunde gemeinsam als DJ & Produzenten Duo durch dick und dünn. Bereits vor dieser Zeit waren sie schon seit einigen Jahren freundschaftlich miteinander verbunden und zogen in dieser Zeit gemeinsam durch die Partylandschaft. Dabei war ihr musikalischer Weg bis dato etwas unterschiedlicher Natur. Während sich Raddantze schon etliche Jahre dem Produzieren verschrieben hatte, war sein Kollege Landhouse seit jeher als leidenschaftlicher Vinyl-DJ bekannt. Beiden liegt das musizieren quasi in den Genen, denn sie stammen aus Musikerfamilien und wurden so schon sehr früh mit dem Musik-Virus infiziert. Schließlich haben sie bei einem ihrer gemeinsamen nächtlichen Ausflüge beschlossen ihre Liebe und Power für die elektronische Musik zu bündeln - Gott sei Dank möchte man fast sagen.

Ihr musikalisches Zuhause fanden die beiden Karlsruher in dem Netlabel Seaside Trip mit ihrer gleichnamigen Podcastreihe, wo ihr Captain Rolandson eisern das Steuer führt. Ihre Produktionen fanden bereits den Weg auf so klangvolle Labels wie Underyourskin Records, Serafin Audio Imprint, Black Hills Recordings und Wildfang Records und ihre Tracks werden von allen Größen der entschleunigten Szene gespielt, wie z.B. Mira, Unders, Monolink.

Für uns hat das Duo eine verträumte und zugleich verspielte Reise kreiert, welche uns Hörer sofort und unweigerlich in seinen Bann zieht - wahrlich zauberhaft. Dafür gebührt ihnen unser tiefempfunder Dank. Wir wünschen euch nun maximalste Unterhaltung mit unserer #124.

Da brodelt es aber diesesmal ordentlich in der heimlichen Gerüchteküche! Alle Ventile stehen auf Anschlag, die Kessel pfeiffen und tief unten im Topf braut sich langsam aber stetig Druck auf. 

Der Druckanzeiger am Deckel voll im roten Bereich und wir wundern uns weshalb es immer nebliger in der Küche wird. Vor lauter Dampf merken wir gar nicht, dass uns der Kopf in die Hose rutscht und das Herz unter dem Arm liegt. Oder war das anders herum? Naja, mittlerweile auch schon egal, es wird ja eh nichts so heiss gegessen wie es gekocht wird.

Jedenfalls lichtet sich der aufgestiegene Dampf langsam wieder und siehe da, es kocht heute iorie, wer hätte das gedacht <3

dear plants, poets and pirates! a message seeded from the seabeds and underwater forests has been floating on the ocean's surface, and the wind has carried it to our shores and dance floors: 


“the times are not for the faint hearted - 
you are supposed to be alive!"
so sail the tides! 
make it a joy ride!” 



It's time to dive deeper into ourselves, exploring our inner depths, giving up some of our outer addictions, desires and comforts that might be causing damage to ourselves and other creatures we share this beautiful planet with. Maybe there are some old artefacts from the past that need to excavated, restored, released. Don't worry, we'll learn to breathe underwater. We’ll learn to become like seaweed, flexible to the currents of life, and make it look like we're dancing.

Atop the ocean surface, things seem choppy and chaotic. Riding the waves is sometimes fun and thrilling, and other times treacherous and terrifying. As we recount the joys and sorrows of the ocean, we notice it's a wheel that never stops turning. Maybe we can travel deep enough to touch our own inner stillness, the great aquatic wonderland, the holy peace; that timeless, weightless, oceanic feeling, where the sunlight pierces through, casting a shimmering jig of light and colour.

Plant Poetry Vol. IV

His treasure chests filled with black gold and glistening silver, capturing a vast collection of acoustic tales… Being a buccaneer, Pophop is right in his element when cruising through the sound waves of that endless ocean named music, always in search of new melodies. The haul he brings to his home port -the artist collective 3000Grad from Germany- afterwards, is an eclectic mixture of East European folklore, dubby grooves, tropical happiness, and multicoloured electronic sound pearls. Using these precious treasures, the bearded vagabond lures the dance floor out of the grey mist of everyday life, takes his listeners on an exciting adventure trip full of daring love for life.
