The journey of a DJ can be defined in multiple facets. The song, the DJ set, the location, the milestone. And following the conclusion of his triumphant Scream story, Markus Schulz embarks on the next chapter. Dedicated to the winter, but resonating beyond every season.

Winter Kills Me highlights Markus' second collaboration with Grammy Award-winning songwriter and vocalist Victoria Horn, who descended into the hearts of many Coldharbour followers thanks to her emotional emission on Scream 2’s stalker anthem sequel, Erase You. Thanks to the electrifying connection, Lady V became an outstanding candidate to star on not just one of Markus' signature career productions, but also to celebrate the 200th release of his Coldharbour outlay.

A year in the making, Winter Kills Me was carefully crafted and held in reserve for the most tender of moments in Markus' tour schedule. The final track of his 2014 residency at Amnesia in Ibiza, the final track of his last ever appearance at Toronto's iconic Guvernment, and the final track at his ambassadorial home of Transmission in Prague; all defined by this soul-inducing melody and vocal. Moments which will be remembered for life.

Along with the outstanding original, Markus welcomes a bona fide legend for his Coldharbour debut. Paul Oakenfold has continually played the role of dance music pioneer, with his desire and impact remaining as infectious today. His take on Winter Kills Me shifts towards the modern big-room sounds, primed for those peak festival moments throughout Christmas and New Year.

And rounding out the package is a Dutch duo who have begun to carve a legacy of their own, thanks to previous Coldharbour anthems such as Apache and Underworld. Fisherman & Hawkins provide the powerful combination of driving basslines and soaring melodies, which is sure to light up the artillery of many DJ sets worldwide.

It's an incredibly proud moment for Markus and everyone at Coldharbour to celebrate 200 releases. And thanks to the exuberant resonance from the fans so far, Winter Kills Me is a fitting and defining piece.

When presented with the opportunity to showcase her musical characteristics across new mix compilation Follow Me, Nifra's dedication and passion towards the project harnessed thoughts from her initial journey to today. One piece in particular, Tomboy, was a personal moment.

Because, throughout the 1990s and 2000s, the world of electronica, and particularly trance music, was heavily skewed towards males. the Slovakian described her childhood and teenage years being defined as a tomboy, because her love for trance music forged friendships with groups where most females didn't have an interest.

Her decade plus long journey as part of the Coldharbour family has coincided with the sea change, but as she is part of that movement, she is quick to remember her journey that got her there.

Tomboy is typical of her production qualities - tempo driven with a swagger and dark undertone, with the beauty and emotion shining through at the right moment.
