It's peak Summertime Chi, so it's only right that we bring on  local producer/DJ favorite @omoidee for a special guest mix, packed with his own productions and remixes.

Omoidé is a Chicago producer and DJ known for his uncanny ability to create intricate
drum grooves on the drum pads, the decks, or even just by clicking the drums in on
Ableton Live. While he is mostly inspired by the sounds of the Soulquarians era, early
2000’s J Dilla records, and the Gran Turismo 3 and 4 soundtracks, he is able to take
other influences from a multitude of genres including (and not limited to) house,
Miami/Atlanta bass, jungle, amapiano, samba, and baile funk. His versatility can best be
seen in his most recent EP titled Full Circle, in which he blends the sounds of D’Angelo,
Cleo Sol, Sergio Mendes, and others into his own sound collage.
Look for omoidé in your Soulection Radio episode, your favorite DJ’s mix, or probably
somewhere deep in your SoundCloud playlists. He’s most likely in there and each
record is a completely different experience
