Part of 2Trax a new electronic music production duo consisting of Djfairwarrior and Dj Poppas who are currently working to produce their own fresh new beats

Dj Poppas has been involved in electronic music production since the Millennium! A regular at techno nights in Leeds such as Morley's legendary 'Orbit', The Darkside @'Leeds Warehouse, Paradise Club & 'Stinky's Peephouse' !

 In 2002 the turntables arrived & vinyl mixing commenced!

Poppas frequented the best record stores in the North like ‘Tune Inn’ in Selby & ‘Inner-city’ & ‘Record Box’ in leeds, some of his favourite labels between 2002  & 2006 we’re Primate, Player, Drumcode, Ilgorhythm, Recycled Loops & International Deejay Gigolo’s!

In 2007 the Pioneer CD’Js arrived alongside the turntables & in 2009 he was called upon to play at some local gigs around York such as ‘Kennedy’s Bar’, Paradigm @ Thomas’s Bar & ‘Tokyo’s’.

In 2010 Poppas began a 3 year Access to Music ‘Digital Musician’ course @ York’s famous ‘Jam Factory’ studio’s & in May of 2012 he became the official winner of a remix competion for Steve Lawler’s ‘Violet’ track!

The remix competion was arranged by ‘Access to Music’, ‘Atom Live’, ‘Back 2 You’ & ‘FIT Ibiza &
the award was presented to Poppas @ The ‘Echoe’s Arena’ in Liverpool by Edith Bowman (Radio One).

Today at the fresh age of 26 he Dj’s using the mighty Traktor S4 controller & the latest Traktor Pro 2.5 digital Dj’ing software while continuing his production & remix work using Logic Pro 9 & Ableton Live 8.

His sound ranges between tribal/funky techno, minimal techno & tough edged House.

Now a regular @ CODE & Future Past @ Beaverworks in Leeds www.future-past.org he has just started collaborating with ‘Jon Lambo’ on some of his techno productions. So watch this space, the future’s looking bright for Dj Poppas !!!
