Gravistation

I love coming up with song titles, sometimes more than actually writing the song. Had the name "Fire in Oslo" for years and it almost became a song a few times. But now, its finally here, with its dark beats, dirty bassline and crossing arps....I had the image of UFO sightings and strange things going on in Scandinavia and the world not really being told what was going on.....enjoy!

As soon as I started this track i thought "sounds like a NewOrder B-side"...so I carried on with that ethic. Ended up with a nice fluffy electronic tune.....lush!

Five Sided Cube

A nice cheery dance tune. It's easy to spot the genesis of this tune..I played the piano riff and realised it was only 3 bars long...so i went with it...and thats why its called Optimise!! Enjoy!

Optimise

I'm not sure whats up with this song. When it was born, it was an 8 bar loop and I constantly kept adding melodies and it all got a bit busy. The problem was fitting them all in once it gained a structure. To me, it all sounded a bit odd, so I figured a bit of mixing might help. Weirdly all that did was give it this sugary sweet, candy coated effect....Sweet!

Afte listening to Ben Bohmer and Tinlicker for a while, i came up with this tune....I kept getting this vision when I was writing it, of someone listening to a party going on in the next apartment and the person is against the wall. They are annoyed by the noise, but also by the fact that they are not AT the party....BUT, also happy that they are by themselves...kind of an anxiety song...

Hi, I'm just a regular joe, started writing music at 15, stopped and started a few times...but finally stopped when i was about 30...have around 300 songs...pop songs and instrumental tunes of various genres as you will find out if you listen. Have been influenced mainly by PetShopBoys, NewOrder, DepecheMode, JeanMicheljarre, Nine Inch Nails, Orbital, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and various dance acts like BT and Paul van Dyk...hope you like some of my tunes, even if its just one...enjoy!
