Hinimawé celebrates the very essence of water. Rooted in the ancient Bana Kuma wisdom map, Hinimawé is a feminine archetype that embraces understanding and emotional depth. Viewing the body as a receiver and emitter, or sah u lé, she weaves unity and spiritual harmony. Hinimawé is a patroness of meditation and art-forms that can soothe the restless mind.

In a mesmerizing symphony, the song ventures into a world of downtempo beats, harmonizing with the ethereal sounds of whales, dolphins, ocean waves, and streams. Enchanting trance-like vocals, alongside the Hand Pan and the Ngoni, converge in perfect harmony, guiding the listener into the infinite waters of remembrance.

Hinimawé is the 3rd track from the coming album called “Home” a collaborative project between Shaman’s Dream and Geometrae, featuring multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, and cutting-edge electronic production.

The story is told through the intention of each song and woven together for the listener to observe each element through the body as a felt experience.

The album begins with the sunrise, as each day begins for us here. The seed is then planted with the intention to grow and flourish, to reach the highest potential as a blooming flower. The 5 elements are explored: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. The 5 elements are needed to transform the seed into a flower, for the fullest expression to be witnessed. Once the flower has bloomed, we welcome the moon, to tap into our psychic senses and merge into the dream world once again, to begin the cycle renewed, to return Home.

Shaman's Dream & Geometrae - Hinimawé (Feat. Evan Fraser)

Sol is the fourth offering of the Kuya Sessions. Cura led us on a shamanic journey of body-centered awareness. Our journey continued in Samadhi, unifying individual and universal consciousness. Akasha brought us to exquisitely ethereal realms and now Sol carefully weaves the terrestrial and celestial sounds of our ancient solar origin as children of the sun. 

“Igniting the Sacred” beckons us to venture beyond the familiar world of illusion. In preparation for the great journey ahead, the soothing sound of vocalist Meagan Chandler and Poranguí ask the benevolent guardian Spirits to open the roads and grant us safe passage.   

Gently purified in the celestial flames of truth, the imaginal cells of our awareness emerge from the primordial sound of “Liminal Sun” to reconnect with the original solar pulse of all creation.  Ancestral Nahuatl invocations carry us across the timeless song lines to meet our heart’s most sacred essence.  

As we emerge in “The Great Turning”, we are embraced by the rolling thunder of our majestic blue home amidst the vast cosmos.  Through the dark side of the Sol, we return more whole, awakening to the blessings of the Waters with an original prayer song for the Afro-Brazilian goddess of the sea, Iemanja, and a morning water prayer song from Native American elder, Chief Delbert “Blackfox” Pomani of the Hunkpapa Lakota.

Embedded within the sonic signature of the world’s oldest musical lineages and enhanced with field recordings and samples from across the globe, Kuya Sessions: Sol is best experienced in its Journey Mix format, where the boundaries between the three movements are as ephemeral as the voyage itself. In preparation for embarking on this ritualistic path, one is invited to create an environment for inner exploration with the help of a quiet and dark room, headphones, an eye mask, and an intention of healing and discovery. 

Sol draws upon a grounding array of ancient instruments, field recordings, indigenous invocations, and therapeutic musical stylings while showcasing Poranguí and Liquid Bloom’s alchemical, multi-dimensional sound. Distilled from the intention of providing listeners a path toward healing and a safe space from which to embark on that odyssey, Kuya Sessions: Sol will continue to reveal itself with each subsequent visit for all who desire its therapeutic guidance. 

The Kuya Sessions were created by Poranguí and Amani Friend (Liquid Bloom) in support of emerging paradigm-shifting medicine and psychedelic-assisted therapeutics to help people transform their lives into lives they love. Sol offers seekers a soundtrack for their journeys toward rebalancing and is now lovingly shared with listeners everywhere on behalf of the artists.

Liquid Bloom and Poranguí, the dynamic duo known for their immersive journey music, have once again graced us with a masterpiece in the form of "Inner Sanctum (Medicine Buddha Mantra Prayer)." As part of their Kuya Series, which explores unique soundscapes for psychedelic therapy, this track stands out as a potent and soulful expression of sound healing.
The origins of "Inner Sanctum" can be traced back to the “Kuya Sessions: Samadhi” album, where it initially featured an excerpt of the Tibetan medicine buddha mantra sung by Poranguí.  Recognizing the potential distraction in its repeated presence during psychedelic therapy sessions, Amani Friend (Liquid Bloom) and Poranguí made a difficult decision to reduce its prominence in the original 25 minute track. This left them wanting to create a refined 9-minute version that beautifully showcased the Medicine Buddha Mantra.

Collaborating with the talented David Satori of Beats Antique and Dirtwire, Amani and Poranguí introduce a unique element to the mantra incorporating the haunting and mystical sound of the bowed banjo. The addition creates an ethereal melodic atmosphere, reminiscent of traditional East Indian instruments, providing further depth and texture to the rich sonic landscape.
The layers within "Inner Sanctum" are a testament to Liquid Bloom and Poranguí's commitment to weaving organic elements into their journey music. The careful arrangement of these layers creates a sonic tapestry that invites listeners to embark on a meditative exploration of their inner selves. Woven intricately into the fabric of Tibetan Buddhist practices, it serves as a conduit for the transformative energy of compassion taking the listener on a sonic pilgrimage towards inner peace and well-being.
