“Madre de la Sierra”, the first single from the forthcoming album Beauty Way by Poranguí, is an invitation to remember the interconnectedness of humankind with Mother Earth. Every part of our body can be found in every part of hers. When we desecrate the earth, we desecrate ourselves. When we desecrate ourselves and each other, we desecrate the earth. 

“Anugwe (Angüe) Duna” (from the Iku language of the Wintukwa people) is a shared principle amongst the 4 indigenous peoples who inhabit La Sierra - the Wintukwa, Kaggaba, Sankha, and Kankuamo. It means “positive spiritual thought'' or “good spirit”, and it is interpreted as the spirit of caring, complementing and reciprocating all that sustains us alive and all the beings we co-exist with in the Universe. The chorus, “caminando en Anugwe Duna” is a call to humanity to walk in this “Good Spirit”: to walk, talk, think and act in Anugwe Duna, collaborating with all of life.

SavaBorsa brings a twisted hypnotic version of Camino Rojo del Corazón's @caminorojo amazing hungarian language song "Csattogó" featuring Adri. All the words in the lyrics starts with a toungbreaker "CS" letter what is very common in hungarian and east europen languages but not really in the west. The rework is a dancefloor focused track but still keeping the original's ceremonical vibe. Original will be released also on our Beauteous Beats label soon.. Enjoy!

On November 3rd Desert Trax presents Ayahuasca Remixed from Brazilian-born artist Poranguí Carvalho McGrew, translated and remixed through the lenses of visionary producers like Shamans Dream,AtYyA, Drumspyder, Kaminanda,Liquid Bloom, Numatik, Yaima, and many others. These 11 tracks were born from a prayer to bridge worlds from the consciousness of the master plant medicine onto the dance floor. It came to life through the meeting and friendship with musician and producer Sahuna Love (Shaman's Dream), and blossomed with the help of Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers & Desert Trax). Each song weaves the medicine of the original, while beckoning listeners to explore and express their prayers or meditations through embodied movement. Murray Kyle is honestly one my favourite acoustic musicians on the planet. I am super exited to have created his first ever remix. I love as a producer to build bridges between the acoustic and electronic worlds to unite cultures through music.
