We are all the sum of every experience we've ever had. So what do you get when you mix punk rock, new wave, industrial, and an affinity for Michael Jackson and Prince? PORSCHA. 

Formed in early 2015 by singer Matt Brunsvold and guitarist Anthony Gabuzzi, Matt first started working on songs in late 2012 while living in downtown Phoenix. TRAGIC FIGURE was written in pieces - some in Phoenix, some while touring with Sleeping with Sirens as a guitar tech, and the rest was finished in California through bouncing ideas back and forth via email with Gabuzzi. "I basically recorded the entire record on a borrowed laptop in my apartment in Long Beach," laughed Matt. He and Anthony would eventually end up in Minneapolis to finish the record with producer James "Fluff" Harley (Prince, Yumi Matsutoya). "[James and I] have been friends for over ten years and I've always respected what he does - we finally found a project to do together."

PORSCHA is truly its own thing, but borrows from a multitude of genres and decades. Matt adds, "I respect bands that change it up and take chances and do whatever they want. That's what we want to do: no rules." TRAGIC FIGURE is set to be released in early September.
