Сегодня особенный #back2rootsmix. Потому что он первый в данной рубрике в исполнении украинского диджея, который к тому же входит в число моих любимых отечественных электронщиков. Встречайте – Сергей Галан, он же Haze. Его Aimless EP (https://t.me/glubinaz/827) я обозревал этим летом и если по какой-то причине вы прошли мимо, непременно наверстайте – релиз реально крутой💪 Что касается микса, он вышел очень ностальгическим в первую очередь для меня самого, поскольку мой музыкальный экспириенс на стыке 90-х и нулевых формировался как раз под влиянием брейкбита и олдскульного прога. За High Roller и I Have Put Out The Light отдельная благодарность – очень личные треки. Ну а Pink Floyd в качестве финального аккорда – просто космос..

Haze: "Собрал музыку школьных и студенческих лет, которая повлияла как на мои музыкальные вкусы, так и на меня как диджея. Cygnus Rift – один из треков из Need for Speed: High Stakes, просто мог сидеть в меню игры и наслаждаться им. Не обошлось и без фильмов, смотрел в кинотеатре The Matrix Reloaded и запомнил момент тусовки в Зионе, просто мурашки от музыки были, позже узнал, что это адаптация трека Fluke - Slap It. The Crystal Method, помню кто-то в школе из одноклассников дал мне кассету послушать, в то время я даже не знал, кто автор музыки, для меня это было нечто крутое. Знакомство с The Prodigy – интересная история. В школе я слышал разговоры о некой крутой группе, но почему-то думал, что это какой-то жесткий металл, который мне не заходит и по сегодня, но позже я все-таки взял послушать кассету с изображением антенн для космической связи (альбом Out of Space) и просто офигел от саунда.

Конечно тогда попадалось много интересной для меня музыки, которая не вошла в микс: The Chemical Brothers, Junkie XL, Fatboy Slim, Propellerheads. Позже в студенческие годы меня покорил британский прогрессив хаус, было много заслушанных до дыр миксов от Sasha, John Digweed, James Holden, Satoshi Tomiie, Lemon8, Lexicon Avenue. Лейблы Bedrock, Global Underground, Saw Recordings и другие. В миксе есть парочка треков той эпохи. Завершает его Pink Floyd, которые тоже повлияли на меня. С их саундом меня познакомил отец еще в ранние школьные годы. Я тогда мало что понимал, но уверен, что эта музыка сыграла свою роль в формировании моего вкуса, и я до сих пор вдохновляюсь ею".

Supertalented Nasty King Kurl has released since 2017 on various imprints such as 777 Recordings, Nerang Recordings, Mother's Finest, and his own label Nasty Enterprises founded in 2020. His background is firmly rooted in modern hip hop, he performs mostly live which explains maybe why his productions contain this certain quality, this bit of craziness: a high that can happen anytime, anyhow, anywhere. You may also know his name from labels such as Childsplay, International Chrome and Mind Controller Rectifier. He started making music back in 2018, during this time he worked with DJ Mell G on her debut EP “Booty Fabulous” & SVZZ on his “Granules Ket” EP. Leshutler blends broken rhythms, ethnic tribal percussion and weird looped synth lines in this hour-long mix.
