Aussie born, Berlin based Tred hitting us hard for Ismcast 134 with a power hour of fast paced techno, trance and electro. Since relocating from Perth he's risen up through the ranks as a DJ, showcasing a firm understanding of the blend between emotional and destructive dance-floor tracks. This understanding has filtered over into Tred's impressive production style, with his recent release on 1Ø PILLS MATE strongly highlighting this.

Ismcast Presents 134 - Tred

Felix Felix Benedikt, alias Alpha Tracks, is a producer based in Vienna, Austria. At the beginning of the millennium, he received his basic musical education under the wings of Erdem Tunakan at Cheap Records and started DJing. From 2012 till 2018 Benedikt worked at TONGUES, a Viennese record store with an in-house studio, where
2016 the project Alpha Tracks was born. The first release on Erdem Tunakan's reactivated
label Morbid has had a strong international resonance.

The music of Alpha Tracks is mainly produced live on analog machines, often with different guest musicians, focussing less on technical fetishism than on live dynamics of studio collaborations. The result is a sound that refers to the rave era of the early nineties. Alpha Tracks blithely ignores tempo limits or taste doctrines. Aesthetic taboos or even fragments of often maligned genres, are not picked up as a retro fetish but are folded into the contemporary oeuvre with playful
Viennese charm.

@mazedk is a Polish DJ who moved to Berlin in the midst of the pandemic after years of living in London. She grew up listening to underground punk, ebm and industrial.
This musical upbringing heavily influenced the type of techno she plays – fast, hard, relentless. Yet her sets centre on emotional messages and in each of them she creates a dark and exciting journey to follow.

This is what she told us about her mix: "I decided to compose a whole set based solely on tracks produced or remixed by FLINTA* artists, either alone or in cooperation. There are a lot of good sounds coming from artists who are under represented in the electronic music scene. I hope to give them the spotlight they deserve."

DJ, producer, boss of the label Nehza Records - RONI is a French artist, influenced by the rave movement of the 90's, especially those across the UK which was the point of between techno, breaks, jungle or ghetto tech. RONI is a resident of Rinse France, where she hosts a monthly show. This show offers her a quick recognition, leading her to play in famous in famous clubs in Europe and to be invited by NSDOS, Asquith or Pedro Winter.

Her commitments, her energy, her aesthetic and her vision of the dancefloor make Roni a key artist of the emerging club culture.

Bringing our final UNFOLD of 2022 to a close was a four and a half hour long B2B between Voicedrone and James Newmarch.

A rare, marathon set from the pair allowed a different approach to their playing; gradually increasing their tempo, giving more time and space to explore their collections, whilst playing to a main room that stayed at near peak capacity and energy levels throughout.

His meticulous and hand-tailored sets focus on fast-paced Techno and different faces of Trance. A blend which earns him appearances at Berlin’s most established venues such as Säule (Berghain), Griessmühle/RSO, Tresor or ÆDEN and eventseries like Mala Junta or Synoid as well as several events throughout Germany, Europe, the US and Australia.
